Dude belated comment but am an aero engineer now and this launch inspired me. From the causeway I saw this on my 21st as a gift from my dad. Great to rewatch.
i just got back from florida and watched sts-129 on the cause way. it is an good view, you seemed to be further own the causeway then we where i had my HFS10 canon HD camcorder, so i'll be posting it on youtube soon. its really beautifiul shot

good stuff. the sound in your video is just slightly down from mine... but its still LOUD. feels good right?

is the camera deceiving. or does it look alot closer when in person
It's a little wider angle than the eye, perhaps, but not much. You're still a long way away on the causeway.
how does your shuttle launch get over 3,000 views and my sts-129 launch only gets under 250? lol any hints? ;)
