I’m thinking after this episode ditch the stock esc for one that’ll manage and handle that gearing and go better tyres as maybe these will not stand up to new wholesome power and let’s see what this truck really really do

Yes, indeed, it's crazy fast. Max 6 1650kv will be perfect setup to handle that gearing

I got a Max 6 G2 1650, it never really gets hot and it’s 100 here. I did decide to put rocket fans on it anyway. I would invest in aluminum diff housing and aluminum diff casing. That car is way to powerful to have plastic diff case and housing. I think you blew your front diff on your first jump.
