LOL... are you mad ? Check people like infected mushroom, much more complex, lusher tracks. This is skillexs attempt at trying to imitate the current 140 sound. Fail
This is definitely the best song on the album for me. Everything about it is fucking immaculate. The ethereal, alien atmosphere of the buildups, those sick bass fills, and then the absolute stroke of genius that is the drop. I mean, high piano notes over Noisia basses??! Only Skrillex can think of this shit. And what an amazingly varied and dynamic track too! It evolves through so many disparate parts - vocoder reggae intro, atmospheric verses, gritty drop, whispery pop vocals, textured synth stabs, woozy elevator-music outro - and yet feels so cohesive. By far one of the best songs he's ever made.
you say only skillex can think of this shit. The reason this song is the best on the album is because he has the godly production of sleepnet and joker on here
People begged Skrillex to make dubstep, instead of making brostep, rumble, inhale/exhale, hydrate and this are the closest things to dubstep Skrillex has ever made, DAM he even got the OG joker, amazing asf hope this album get the recognition it deserves
Even when he was making brostep, which isn't my thing, it was clear he was a super talented producer. I did love his work on Spring Breakers though and this is sick!
Brostep IS dubstep, just a different subgenre from the oldschool kind. With that being said, he has done more than just screechy brostep. Summit was liquid dubstep and Ruffneck (Flex, not Full Flex), while it's still brostep, uses deeper wobble basses.
This song is a technical marvel, like you wouldn't find any song that contains this level of production, it's like an onion, layers and layers of tunes that actually blend together with perfection
I think when OG Dubstep producers were envisioning the future of the genre, this is the kind of style they were probably thinking about. It does everything right, not too intense, but still dark, deep, and progressive with its sound design and clean production. This is no hate or disrespect to the Brostep/Tearout days; they had their time and place and I love those genres for what they do, but this is the TRUE evolution producers and fans were waiting for throughout the 2010's.
Couldn’t agree more. I loved old Skrillex when I was in middle school but his new stuff just hits different for me. I’m so glad that things like Wakaan and other future bass outlets exist nowadays or I probably would’ve never got back into edm at all.
I honestly think this is one of the best collaborations of sounds I've ever heard. The sub-bass in the beginning, the amazing use of mid-bass.That various drop are pretty mind-blowing and that vocal sample as an instrument.

This album is just something so beautiful to the ear. My personal favorite is this one for sure but every single track has it's own little vibe it feels like. Gonna have these 15 tracks on repeat for a while, cannot wait to see what you have in store for this second album!!
Absolutely agree. And even jokers bubbly-esque basslines but with Nik’s newer touch of soundscape and quality. Not taking away from sonny at all. Just for me Joker and Nik’s sound is all over this, with skrillex’s high vocal chopping and choir-ish saw synths. But even the vocal effect ‘hold me close now’ towards the end, that screams noisia for me and especially sleepnet, but almost as if sonny is recording the Vox himself. Nevertheless, huge track. Sonically amazing as per usual with these guys. Just an insanely emotive and moody piece I absolutely love it.
