Hello. Thank you for sharing your family recipe with us. I followed your steps and am not ashamed to admit I made mistakes. My first mistake was that I didn't know the can of tomatoes was not pureed, so I dumped the entire can inside the pot and had to scoop the tomatoes out and puree them in my machine. lol. So embarrassing. lol. My second mistake I didn't know that I had to use your homemade Italian sauce instead of a quick jar of old-fashioned Ragu Sauce lol. So I had to run to the supermarket and get all the cheeses and ingredients some were not available especially fontina cheese very expensive cheese I had to shred them by hand. Once I did all that work the sauce was been made I splattered sauce all over the place total mess I did in my stove and finally I burned some of the cheese in the bottom but everyone still loved the food and said it never tasted sometime like that before. I think I might do the sauce a day before and try again later since there is a lot of work in the kitchen I was exhausted by the end of the day lol.
My family is from Naples and Calabria. My mom used to make the best pasta e fagioli. She passed away a few years ago. Can you guys please make a video of pasta e fagioli? ❤
The baked ziti was super and the steak was Magnifecent... Can yiu guyz make shrimp grand marnier recipe or shrimp in creamy champagne sauce over rice or over pasta whichever would be better I'm just asking because you guys rock thank you all the best to family
