When I was a little kid, and watched these when they were first released in the early 60's, I was almost always upset that the Gophers always won all the time... this episode deviates a bit from the stock formula, and has the Col. & his Sgt. actually "open up the scoring" and go "one up early" on the Gopher Indians... for some reason, I'm actually much more pleased that the Indians are able to deservedly get revenge on the Army people in this one, as the Col was more-competent and menacingly so, meanly destroying the Indian's teepee! ... and I'm sure I would even have felt the same as a 5-year-old... also, that "Flying Eagle" thing IS BOTH COOL & FUNNY, and adds to me suprisingly rooting for the Indians in this one... Anyway, that Poor Sgt., always saying "Begging the Colonel's pardon, but", and the Col. would almost invariably reply; "NONSENSE!", "CHARGE!".
