I think the Major reason for the lose is improper team selection. To win test matches in overseas conditions we need 6 proper batsman + 5 proper bowler. Or 6 proper batsman + 1 alrounder + 4 proper bowler.
I dont know why we are soo much obsessed to play alrounders in test cricket. Its not a t20 cricket. At times Test cricket needs proper skilled one dimensional players.
We are playing 3 alrounders who are not the proper bowlers neither proper batsman.
In contrary Australia picked Cummins, Starc, Lyon, Boland purely based on their primary skill.. if they do well in batting then it's just a bonus to the team.
Sundar ,Jadeja neither bowl well neither bat good. I have no issues picking Nitish Reddy. But he should be picked as a proper batsman. Apart from getting couple of wickets by fluke, his bowling is not really upto the standard.
