Thanks for the review. I have a lot of radios myself. My favourite station is on AM. The smaller radio has a little bit crisper AM sound. The larger one, although sounding "full" and more beefy may start to grate your ears after a while. I think that when people report their AM radios as having a good sound they are probably not listening to it for an extended time or they are in a noisy environment. I often prefer to listening to (good) small radios for that reason (a much clearer sound).

PR-D19 may be my next Sangean, agree with the Sangean speaker tone, Sangean need better speakers in the radio they sell.
