My fiance used to sing this song when I wouldn't eat dinner and skip meals to make me feel better and he'd eat with me but whenever his brother had a seizure and passed away he wouldn't eat his meals so I ate with him and sang him this song but he passed away due to an overdose on my anxiety meds I now feel like it was my fault because they were my meds but now every year on his birthday I visit his burial site and eat with him and sing this song even if he isn't here to sing it with me. I just love her in general, the way she talks , the way she walks, the way she glows and makes everyone disappear.
Last year this time I got a divorce, my wife left me and my son the week of Christmas and I didn't see her again for months. We were married 5 years, I was devastated. BUT in June I met a girl who changed my world, we talked online for months, eventually we met up and I learned a few songs on my guitar to impress her. When we realized we were both Mac fans it blew my mind and now I sing and play on my guitar this song and play all kinds of Mac songs, I even changed the lyrics to freaking out the neighborhood and made it a song about her. She's gentle and kind and respectful to me in a way I've never experienced. Moral of the story: when your world feels like it's falling apart it might be for your best, don't get too caught up in the pain of the past and keep your focus on the future. There's happiness out there for everyone. ✌️

I know this song's about being in love but this makes me think of my mother so much.
She passed away back in 2020, was a really hard working woman. She did some sort of funding work where she'd go to all these little remote villages in the mountains with food, clothes etc. She's climbed so many mountains and crossed so many rivers, been in so many accident and still made it home alive.
I miss her so much, she's truly an inspiration and I'll always look up to her even if she's not around anymore. May God rest her soul.
