      I think the key word is "surrounding" here. None of that doom and gloom was visible from the inside. Sometimes it rains and when it does it's a mess.

    Whoever designed that display did a simply beautiful job, ive never seen such a variable and fast firing show. The music fit with it too hahaha. Also I don't know where you people are getting the $3500-$10000 ticket cost, but it's $575 plus $140 per vehicle, easy internet search. It'd cost you a good portion of that to park your RV in several parks in my state of CO for 8 days lol. They also sell 5000 tickets for $225 to people who can't afford to spend more. I've never been to this and the party drug scene would be quite the turn off to me personally but if you're into it that's really not a bad price, people pay that amount to see 2-3 hour concerts

    • @TeddyOG
      @TeddyOG Год назад +5

      Yeah, I've got low income 3/4 years, for 9 days it's pretty reasonable. Even a camp site costs money. But I won't deny there's a big investment to be comfortable, however as an avid camper/backpacker I had a good amount of equipment already. It's not all techies and bros lol, I guarantee that

      Good points. I've never been, but many friends have, most of whom love it, a few hated it. I also learned that by no means everyone (nor even most Burners) do drugs at BM. Lots do; more don't. And there are a range of different camps, which range from interested in and not interested in drugs (including booze).

      It's been sped up. Look in the background you can see burners moving around. I went in '99 and 2000, changed my life for the better. It is physically demanding and I knew it going in. If you go, go with others who have gone before you. Consider it the World's largest open air Art Opening and dress accordingly. Have an open attitude and you'll do fine.

    That is the 3rd movement of Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata". It is marked as "Presto agitato" in the sheet music, indicating a tempo of around 120-130 beats per minute. This is one of my favorite piano works (although I loathe the eponymous first movement) and it is being played at (almost) exactly the way any pianist would play it.

    Ok listen up people.. if you're gonna try to go again next year of 2024, please make sure you all check the 5 day weather forecast and road conditions! If you never were a cub/boy scout... we were taught a very important thing that's part of becoming a good scout... it's " Be prepared " from A to Z. That's covering everything from foods to gear for travel and camping. But the most important thing is the weather. It will make or break you if you don't seek vital information about the weather patterns. The way we saw how the area got mucked up from the storms.. maybe it shouldn't be held on a dry lake bed but rather on granges near mountains with other ways of transportation or hiking out with resources of water,trees, plants. We know it's all about dropping everything to go and join the fun but you all have to be sure that it'll be safe, reassured, and knowledgeable about where you're going and how far.. "no such thing as bad weather, it's bad gear"

      Burn night was postponed until Monday, so, yes, many left since they would have left after Burn on Saturday through last official day on Monday. Many had wanted to stay, but could not swing the extra time. It was AMAZING live. Jaw dropping!

      There was no ebola. If there had been, that place would be so locked-down you'd think it was a freakin' science-fiction movie.
      There was however, _ecoli,_ which is what you get when common water sources get human (or animal) fecal matter in them. The result is dysentery, under which you'll sh*t yourself to death.

    Amazing capture of the man burn. The music choice not so much. I would have preferred the playa song. The sound of the wild creatures in their natural habitat. Ya know?

      However, I should say the song is actually an amazing song. Just not one I would associate with Burning Man.

    $7,000 for this. No thank you! If this was so important to people, why didn’t people stay? They were high tailing out of here!

    • @williamwolf2844
      @williamwolf2844 Год назад

      Almost everyone stayed: 65,000 out of 70,000 stayed. That's 91%. And the vast majority of people do not pay $7,000. Most pay, for everything, less than $2,000 for an entire week.
