But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart. بلکہ اِسلئِے کہ مَیں نے یہ باتیں تُم سے کہِیں تُمہارا دِل غم سے بھرگیا۔ 7. Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. لیکِن مَیں تُم سے سَچ کہتا ہُوں کہ میرا جانا تُمہارے لئِے فائِدہ مند ہے کِیُونکہ اگر مَیں نہ جاؤُں تو وہ مددگار تُمہارے پاس نہ آئے گا لیکِن اگر جاؤں گا تو اُسے تُمہارے پاس بھیج دُوں گا۔ 8. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: اور وہ آ کر دُنیا کو گُناہ اور راستبازی اور عدالت کے بارے میں قُصُور وار ٹھہرائے گا۔ 9. Of sin, because they believe not on me; گُناہ کے بارے میں اِس لِئے کہ وہ مُجھ پر اِیمان نہِیں لاتے۔ 10. Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; راستبازی کے بارے میں اِس لِئے کہ مَیں باپ کے پاس جاتا ہُوں اور تُم مُجھے پِھر نہ دیکھو گے۔ 11. Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. عدالت کے بارے اِس لِئے کہ دُنیا کا سَردار مُجرم ٹھہرایا گیا ہے۔ 12. I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. مُجھے تُم سے اَور بھی بہُت سی باتیں کہنا ہے مگر اَب تُم اُن کی برداشت نہِیں کرسکتے۔ 13. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. لیکِن جب وہ یعنی رُوح حق آئے گا تو تُم کو تمام سَچّائی کی راہ دِکھائے گا۔ اِس لِئے کہ وہ اپنی طرف سے نہ کہے گا لیکِن جو کُچھ سُنیگا وُہی کہے گا اور تُمہیں آئیندا کی خَبریں دے گا۔ 14. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. وہ میرا جلال ظاہِر کرے گا۔ اِس لِئے کہ مُجھ ہی سے حاصل کر کے تُمہیں خَبریں دے گا۔ 15. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. جو کُچھ باپ کا ہے وہ سب میرا ہے۔ اِس لِئے مَیں نے کہا کہ وہ مُجھ ہی سے حاصِل کرتا ہے اور تُمہیں خَبریں دے گا۔ 16. A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father. تھوڑی دیر میں تُم مُجھے نہ دیکھو گے اور پھِر تھوڑی دیر میں مُجھے دیکھ لوگے۔ 17. Then said some of his disciples among themselves, What is this that he saith unto us, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father? پَس اُس کے بعض شاگِردوں نے آپس میں کہا یہ کیا ہے جو وہ ہم سے کہتا ہے کہ تھوڑی دیر میں تُم مُجھے نہ دیکھو گے اور پھِر تھوڑی دیر میں مُجھے دیکھ لوگے اور یہ کہ اِس لِئے کہ مَیں باپ کے پاس جاتا ہُوں؟۔ 18. They said therefore, What is this that he saith, A little while? we cannot tell what he saith. پَس اُنہوں نے نے کہا کہ تھوڑی دیر جو وہ کہتا ہے یہ کیا یہ کیا بات ہے؟ ہم نہِیں جانتے کہ کیا کہتا ہے۔ 19. Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me? یِسُوع نے یہ جان کرکہ وہ مُجھ سے سوال کرنا چاہتے ہیں اُن سے کہا کیا تُم آپس میں میری اِس بات نِسبت پُوچھ پاچھ کرتے ہوکہ تھوڑی دیر میں تُم مُجھے نہ دیکھو گے اور پھِر تھوڑی دیر میں مُجھے دیکھ لوگے؟۔ 20. Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy. مَیں تُم سے سَچ کہتا ہُوں کہ تُم رووگے اور ماتم کروگے مگر دُنیا خُوش ہوگی۔ تُم غمگِین تو ہوگے لیکِن تُہارا غم ہی خُوشی بن جائے گ 22. And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you. پَس تُمہیں بھی اَب تو غم ہے مگر مَیں تُم سے پھِر ملُِوں گا اور تُمہارا دِل خُوش ہوگا اور تُمہاری خُوشی کوئی تُم سے چھین نہ لے گا۔ 23. And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. اُس دِن تُم مُجھ سے کُچھ نہ پُوچھو گے۔ مَیں تُم سے سَچ کہتا ہُوں کہ اگر باپ سے کُچھ مانگو گے تو وہ میرے نام سے تُم کو دے گا۔ 24. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. اب تک تُم نے میرے نام سے کُچھ نہِیں مانگا۔ مانگو تو پاو گے تاکہ تُمہاری خُوشی پُوری ہوجائے۔ 25. These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father. میں نے باتیں تُم سے تَمثِیلوں میں کہِیں۔ وہ وقت آتا ہے کہ پھِر تُم سے تَمثِیلوں میں نہ کہُوں گا بلکہ صاف صاف تُمہیں باپ کی خَبر دُوں گا۔ 26. At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: اُس دِن تُم میرے نام سے مانگو گے اور مَیں تُم سے یہ نہِیں کہتا کہ باپ سے تُمہارے لئِے دَرخواست کرُوں گا۔ 27. For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. اِس لِئے کہ باپ تو آپ ہی تُم کو عزیز رکھتا ہے کِیُونکہ تُم نے مُجھ کو عِزیز رکھّا ہے اور اِیمان لائے ہوکہ مَیں باپ کی طرف سے نِکلا۔ 28. I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. مَیں باپ سے نِکلا اور دُنیا میں آیا ہُوں۔ پھِر دُنیا سے رُخصت ہوکر باپ کے پاس جاتا ہُوں۔ 29. His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb. اُس کے شاگِردوں نے کہا دیکھ اَب تُو صاف صاف کہتا ہے اور کوئی تَمثِیل نہِیں کہتا۔ 30. Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God. اب ہم جان گئے کہ تُو سب کُچھ جانتا ہے اور اِس کا مُحتاج نہِیں کہ کوئی تُجھ سے پُوچھے۔ اِس سبب سے ہم اِیمان لاتے ہیں کہ تُو خُدا سے نِکلا ہے۔ 31. Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe? یِسُوع نے اُنہِیں جواب دِیا کیا تُم اَب اِیمان لاتے ہو؟۔ 32. Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me. دیکھو وہ آتی ہے بلکہ آپہُنچی کہ تُم سب پاگندا ہوکر اپنے اپنے گھر کی راہ لوگے اور مُجھے اکیلا چھوڑ دوگے تَو بھی مَیں اکیلا نہِیں ہُوں کِیُونکہ باپ میرے ساتھ ہے۔ 33. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. مَیں نے تُم سے یہ باتیں اِس لِئے کِہیں کہ تُم مُجھ میں اِطمینان پاو۔ دُنیا میں مُصیبت اُٹھاتے ہو لیکِن خاطِر جمع رکھّو مَیں دُنیا پر غالِب آیا ہئوں۔

لیکِن جب وہ یعنی رُوح حق آئے گا تو تُم کو تمام سَچّائی کی راہ دِکھائے گا۔ اِس لِئے کہ وہ اپنی طرف سے نہ کہے گا لیکِن جو کُچھ سُنیگا وُہی کہے گا اور تُمہیں آئیندا کی خَبریں دے گا۔
14. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
وہ میرا جلال ظاہِر کرے گا۔ اِس لِئے کہ مُجھ ہی سے حاصل کر کے تُمہیں خَبریں دے گا۔
15. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
جو کُچھ باپ کا ہے وہ سب میرا ہے۔ اِس لِئے مَیں نے کہا کہ وہ مُجھ ہی سے حاصِل کرتا ہے اور تُمہیں خَبریں دے گا۔
16. A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.
تھوڑی دیر میں تُم مُجھے نہ دیکھو گے اور پھِر تھوڑی دیر میں مُجھے دیکھ لوگے۔
17. Then said some of his disciples among themselves, What is this that he saith unto us, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father?
پَس اُس کے بعض شاگِردوں نے آپس میں کہا یہ کیا ہے جو وہ ہم سے کہتا ہے کہ تھوڑی دیر میں تُم مُجھے نہ دیکھو گے اور پھِر تھوڑی دیر میں مُجھے دیکھ لوگے اور یہ کہ اِس لِئے کہ مَیں باپ کے پاس جاتا ہُوں؟۔
18. They said therefore, What is this that he saith, A little while? we cannot tell what he saith.
پَس اُنہوں نے نے کہا کہ تھوڑی دیر جو وہ کہتا ہے یہ کیا یہ کیا بات ہے؟ ہم نہِیں جانتے کہ کیا کہتا ہے۔
19. Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me?
یِسُوع نے یہ جان کرکہ وہ مُجھ سے سوال کرنا چاہتے ہیں اُن سے کہا کیا تُم آپس میں میری اِس بات نِسبت پُوچھ پاچھ کرتے ہوکہ تھوڑی دیر میں تُم مُجھے نہ دیکھو گے اور پھِر تھوڑی دیر میں مُجھے دیکھ لوگے؟۔
20. Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
مَیں تُم سے سَچ کہتا ہُوں کہ تُم رووگے اور ماتم کروگے مگر دُنیا خُوش ہوگی۔ تُم غمگِین تو ہوگے لیکِن تُہارا غم ہی خُوشی بن جائے گ
22. And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.
پَس تُمہیں بھی اَب تو غم ہے مگر مَیں تُم سے پھِر ملُِوں گا اور تُمہارا دِل خُوش ہوگا اور تُمہاری خُوشی کوئی تُم سے چھین نہ لے گا۔
23. And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
اُس دِن تُم مُجھ سے کُچھ نہ پُوچھو گے۔ مَیں تُم سے سَچ کہتا ہُوں کہ اگر باپ سے کُچھ مانگو گے تو وہ میرے نام سے تُم کو دے گا۔
24. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
اب تک تُم نے میرے نام سے کُچھ نہِیں مانگا۔ مانگو تو پاو گے تاکہ تُمہاری خُوشی پُوری ہوجائے۔
25. These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.
میں نے باتیں تُم سے تَمثِیلوں میں کہِیں۔ وہ وقت آتا ہے کہ پھِر تُم سے تَمثِیلوں میں نہ کہُوں گا بلکہ صاف صاف تُمہیں باپ کی خَبر دُوں گا۔
26. At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:
اُس دِن تُم میرے نام سے مانگو گے اور مَیں تُم سے یہ نہِیں کہتا کہ باپ سے تُمہارے لئِے دَرخواست کرُوں گا۔
27. For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.
اِس لِئے کہ باپ تو آپ ہی تُم کو عزیز رکھتا ہے کِیُونکہ تُم نے مُجھ کو عِزیز رکھّا ہے اور اِیمان لائے ہوکہ مَیں باپ کی طرف سے نِکلا۔
28. I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.
مَیں باپ سے نِکلا اور دُنیا میں آیا ہُوں۔ پھِر دُنیا سے رُخصت ہوکر باپ کے پاس جاتا ہُوں۔
29. His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb.
اُس کے شاگِردوں نے کہا دیکھ اَب تُو صاف صاف کہتا ہے اور کوئی تَمثِیل نہِیں کہتا۔
30. Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.
اب ہم جان گئے کہ تُو سب کُچھ جانتا ہے اور اِس کا مُحتاج نہِیں کہ کوئی تُجھ سے پُوچھے۔ اِس سبب سے ہم اِیمان لاتے ہیں کہ تُو خُدا سے نِکلا ہے۔
31. Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?
یِسُوع نے اُنہِیں جواب دِیا کیا تُم اَب اِیمان لاتے ہو؟۔
32. Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
دیکھو وہ آتی ہے بلکہ آپہُنچی کہ تُم سب پاگندا ہوکر اپنے اپنے گھر کی راہ لوگے اور مُجھے اکیلا چھوڑ دوگے تَو بھی مَیں اکیلا نہِیں ہُوں کِیُونکہ باپ میرے ساتھ ہے۔
33. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
مَیں نے تُم سے یہ باتیں اِس لِئے کِہیں کہ تُم مُجھ میں اِطمینان پاو۔ دُنیا میں مُصیبت اُٹھاتے ہو لیکِن خاطِر جمع رکھّو مَیں دُنیا پر غالِب آیا ہئوں۔
