Listening to this on studio headphones. The mix is immense. Love how it gets deeper and deeper. Haven’t been at my studio desk for a while I needed this lift...let’s get creating
Thanks for the comment, actually got me to immediately check it on my good headphones as well and I can agree the soundstage is really nice! (was just randomly checking the channel to see what's there/new [know him already] and just had it played via basic PC speakers first, had no intention to discover music now^^)
Edmond, you are so good at building energy and amazing soundscapes, but I have to admit I miss the INCREDIBLE drops from the Nth and After Hours days. Every time I listen to those albums I feel like you were having SO much fun. You were easily my favorite electronic artist then. I went to your 2014 show in Seattle and you signed my phone case. It was one of my favorite nights of that year! On the past few albums, I feel like your songs build and build but never give out the same cathartic release of energy. The drops on After Hours felt joyous, no-holds-barred, unashamed to exist. Now I feel like they're always holding back. If the more chill/minimalist style is making you happy, keep doing you. But if you feel the call to make more tracks with insane drops again, PLEASE don't hold yourself back. :) Love, A huge fan
I'm actually quite excited and inspired to make some club tracks. The world is starting to party again, so I'd be happy to score some of those moments. - I think Presence is one of my greatest musical accomplishments, so I definitely wasn't holding back... but I take your point, and I'll be working on some "fun" stuff too. ✌🏼🕺🏼
Long trips demand an overwerk playlist, there's so much depth to every one of their tracks that it makes those commutes so much better. Love your stuff OVERWERK!
I really do love how you take very modern instruments and compose them in a style that almost feels classical. I get the same sensation listening to excellent classical music as when I listen to your better tracks, and this is definitely among them. I discovered you years ago on accident and not a single new release has disappointed me since.
Oh to be in the back of Overwerk's car listening to his music on a beautiful summer evening, with the warm sun on your back and a cool breeze in your face.
I first started getting into electronic music in the early 2010s. I heard "Buzzin'" from a recommendation of a friend in 2011 as a medical student. I'm now 33 years old, a doctor, married with two kids, and I still anxiously await every single thing this man creates. Great music is eternal. Thank you for sharing your gift with us.
can i just say that Daybreak is easily in my top three favorite songs of all time?? i love how it so effectively shifts moods from negative to positive halfway through and i hope Overwerk puts out another song in the same style 🥺
Gotta say, I'm pretty impressed with how you've changed your sound with this album. Though I know some people will still crave the go crazy hard drop electronic bass jams (including me), I feel that there is plenty of your previous work to satisfy that craving. This new stuff proves that you can keep it interesting and I've honestly really enjoyed it. After decent stretch of time without listening to your music, coming back and hearing this new sound is refreshing and enticing. That being said, at the end of the day, make the music you like to make. The well-being of the artist is always the most important to any fan. 😄
great job, keep it up! guys what genre would you consider this music to be? what music genre is Overwerk in general, like "future bass", "trance", maybe "EDM" ? what do u say? thanks
Hell yesss an official video. I love it man!! 🙌👌 This makes me want to take a trip and drive my car to either Monterey or Santa Cruz. Roads are very similar to this highway. Music and video on point with this masterpiece.

Very nice BMW 2002 with manual 5 speed gearbox. Probably from 1971~1972. I'm REALLY inlove with that combo interior's colors.

Шикарно. Десять лет его слушаю. Не надоедает. Талантище!!!!!!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍
Love details, like how the drop was timed with the light change of the tunnel at 3:10!
Yet another masterclass of sampling, it sounds like you've got that silver and gold touch.
Real Human Being...and a Real Hero...
There are three things you can watch forever: fire, water, and OVERWERK creating
sounds like a soundtrack straight from the movie Tron: Legacy. I can see the scene at the end of the movie at sunrise the motorcycle trip.
Yes! Overwerk would be perfect for Tron. I wish he participated in creating Tron 3 soundtrack...

Never really listened to much electronic music before but can't stop listening to this song. Thank you OVERWERK I love it!!
Beautiful, this is a magnum opus
The way video perfectly matches the audio part of the song is just incredible!..
Huge respect Overwerk!
Reminds some night rides from "Drive" movie, a good combination of a quiet ride with pleasant quality music, as always amazing.
So meditative.
Makes me feel a sense of "heavy peace"... don't know how to depict it elseway.
Deep
I use overwerk on every drive over 4 hours
S tier music. S tier video. Imagine having an arsenal of only good songs.

Clearly one of the best electronic music I've heard. And a very talented artist, alongside others like Joachim pastor, worakls, Danger, etc..
