What sealed box enclosure volume (speaker volume not subtracted) is recommended for the TS-A6977S?
Why isn't this on the US Pioneer website?
I bought 4 of the 6997s. I love them.
Good question. And the Pioneer 6x9 TS-A6995S 5-WAY 1000W MAX. 240 NOM. is also not available any longer but no one seems to have the answer as to why.
Please For the ts a6977S, I want to know if the 100W of RMS power is the general power that the two speakers produce together, i.e. 50w × 2 or it is that which a single 100w × 2 speaker develops. I need this information to choose the amplifier Thank you so much

Hello, when you say "the best" it will depend on what are you looking for in a car speaker. If you are after the clearest sound and with the most advanced speaker parts, we have the Z-Series and D-Series speakers. If you want loud and punchy sound, we have our Champion Series. You can consider our A-Series to be a balanced option. Compared to the TS-A6996S, the TS-A6997S has increased MAX and RMS power rating and a bigger, heavier magnet.
I just installed two Pioneer 6x9 TS-A6995S 5-WAY 1000W MAX. 240 NOM. in my car and get phenomenal sound. Why is this speaker no loner available?

Hi! I just bought TS-A6997S. Are this full range or they need a subwoofer to cover all range? Im gonna try them alone with pionner amp and pioneer head unit . Thanks for the video!
Hi. Thank you for watching our video. The speakers are full range 5-Way starting from 25 Hz to 33 kHz. But of course, having a subwoofer can improve bass further and give you that extra low end. It all depends on your preference. A good combination would be drive this speaker via the Channel A of a 4-channel Analog amplifier and a 10" or 12" Single Voice Coil subwoofer in bridged mode on Channel B.
If you want even more low end, then you could use a Pioneer mono block Digital amplifier with a Dual Voice Coil 12" Subwoofer. If you let us know which country you are based in, we could suggest the appropriate models.

Hi, for our TS-A Series speakers, we highly recommend the use of amplifiers. You can still use them without an amplifier but you will not be using them at their full potential. If you require speakers that run well without amplifiers check our TS-G and TS-R Series.
