I always visualised the primal path like the Bijuu jinchuriki from Naruto; the Babarian rages so hard their emotions take physical form and their spirit animal manifests until they're cloaked in an animal like-aura.
The full-on body horror implication of the physical transformation are fun though, particulary for a Vampire player. It's like Ellga's loosing the beast that she normally keeps contained.

I can guarantee you they forgot he could do it. They seem relatively new to their classes, in the previous episode Chip stabs Eddy while Eddy's prone and nobody mentions that it should be a sneak attack.
Gus should have told Blaine that if Chip gets a crit, then his Sneak Attack damage die is also doubled, so there should've been an additional 12 points of damage on top of the 21 damage he did with his Assassinate Attack, which would've been just enough to one-shot the monster

The crack about the barbarian doing an arcana check. In my current campaign I have barbarian with the magic initiate feat and the Sage background (failed apprentice). We only have divine spell casters... so the failed apprentice is actually the go to guy for magic stuff...
Nerd reminder: Frankensteins monster would ALSO be called Frankenstein, as Frankenstein refers to the doctors last name which would be passed on to his odd zombie son (and the creation is called Frankenstein in the original book)
Well, there's a huge debate in the literary world about this. The fact that Victor didn't raise the monster and sort of disowned him is specifically illustrated by the lack of a name. Giving him Victor's name misses the entire point of the story that Shelley was trying to tell (in the original book the monster was never referred to as Frankenstein)
Also, there is also already a Stinky Dragon Universe reason for Frankenstein's name revealed in a previous episode involving a completely different origin story. Basically this Frankenstein (or should I say Frank-and-Stein) is an entirely different character
And this one is two people, Frank and Stein.

my hypothesis is that the sand worm thing was actually creating the illusion of stranded people as a hunting strategy. It went down but didn't die immediatly, hence the illusion persisting a few instants
... I grew up reading the dictionary and a thesaurus. I was born with dyslexia and my parents were trying to improve my reading. I still own my first dictionary, as well as more I've collected.

So true! I found you guys through your puppet videos, and now I can't stop watching. I haven't played D&D in over 10 years, and for some reason, I've been wanting to get back into it. I was watching another channel called Viva La Dirt League when I found you guys through RUclips's algorithms. They do a bunch of these short live action comedy sketches. One of my favorite bunch of sketches that they do is called Epic NPC Man. Well, after doing several seasons, they finally decided to take some of their best characters and do a D&D campaign called Epic NPC D&D. 100% worth checking them out. I love how they will act out some of the campaign scenes in full costume using a green screen. Anyways, you guys are beyond hilarious, and I look forward to listening to and watching more content.

That's crazy because all the requirements for being a monk is a sense of asceticism.
@@matchbox7068 The definition of monk is someone who practices religious asceticism by living a monastic lifestyle. a monastic lifestyle is a religious way of life in which one renounces worldly pursuits to devote themselves fully to spiritual work.
The D&D class monk doesn't really match the real world monk. they are loosely based on shaolin monks because they use meditation and physical training to gain control of their bodies to gain martial prowess. the shaolin monks only do this to defend their religious neighbors from invaders. most other monastic orders do not condone violence by their members. some, typically Buddhist, Hindu, and Jainist, monks practice body control by practicing yoga or other non combat physical training. monks also typically live in large semi-isolated groups, with occasional periods of individual isolationism.
The biggest problem with D&D monks is that there is no requirement to give up worldly pursuits (like running a bakery and hoping to make the best croissant) they don't really practice asceticism is any way except not using weapons or armor, they don't practice a monastic lifestyle, they don't have any comradery with their order, they almost entirely immerse themselves in the nonmonastic world. in reality D&D monks are just martial artists, but they wanted to use a name that was reminiscent of the shaolin monks

I honestly thought it was unnecessary. Not just the fact that Barney is an old forgetful man character. And besides; expecting his friends to remember something so benign to his character is kind of ridiculous since everyone else uses their actual pronouns

Actually only Matiede(?) was aware. It was clear from a meta perspective, but chip and Barney saw her as an oddly strong little girl!
