Dude, this has been the most helpful gauntlet's guide I've ever seen. I started playing a couple months ago and made it to mid plat before i got hardstuck and have been there for weeks. I haven't made it to diamond yet, but as a Tezca main with great boots but pretty weak gauntlets this helped me rank up to plat 4. Really happy to be progressing nice and quick, and this guide has definitely helped me out a ton.
Would like to elaborate on the gs-gaunts matchup. In neutral, it is very important to understand the basic rps of the two weapons. Gauntlet slight and dlight will get easily stuffed by greatsword slight with little opportunity to punish, but a dash jump dair from gaunts will beat said slight. However, GS nlight is an EXCELLENT move to beat gauntlet dair and just any sort of floating in the air gauntlets do. But as you might have realized, gauntlet dlight can easily beat or punish GS nlight. When these two weapons clash, you must rotate your options. Also, greatsword will generally play defensively using it's massive attacks to keep the gaunts player out. So the timing of engagements will be largely dictated by the gauntlets player, while the GS player often chooses the place.
Had to fight few good gs players in last couple of days. Boy that was difficult. One thing I noticed is that all them used sair and recovery really well .my monkey brain still finds it hard to understand gs.
everyone will be playing tezca, and because of this they will want a battle boots guide, but there will be tons of people doing that, so you made a tutorial about tezca's other weapon which nobody else will do. smart
I never saw ppl talking about that one string on rayman which is dlight cd nsig. It’s basically 1 frame but it has to be an instant nsig to make it 1 frame and your opponent has to be at orange if I'm not mistaken

At 2:06 you did d light then down air, how did you jump so quickly after d light do you could do dair? Whenever I try and do down light I have to wait a second then jump fall back down and do it but you do it quickly?

late reply (sorry) but in case you’re still wondering you have to input a jump first then almost immediately input a chase dodge. This allows you to do aerial moves while staying at ground height.

Hey can you tell how to hit air moves after d light (2:10 and 3:40) cause you have to jump and i always get too high to make a combo

I played alot of scyce and it hot Boring need a New wepon and a Main i like sword bow gauntlets spear which legend wozld you say
umm you forgot one crucial combo: Dlight > Side neutral > Nair > Sair
there are many other guides with that combo he chose not to include it probably for that reason
