- Star Wars Outlaws is set to offer a very different kind of experience from what Massive Entertainment has traditionally been known for with The Division, which means the studio will have looked outward for inspiration for several aspects of its upcoming open world title.
And when it comes to the storytelling aspects in particular, there’s plenty that Star Wars Outlaws could learn from Electronic Arts’ Star Wars Jedi series about what minimum bar of quality to hit as a modern AAA story driven single player Star Wars game- even if, from a gameplay perspective, Outlaws is going to be quite different from the Jedi games. With the open world title out soon, here, we talk about all of that and more.

It's a good game, not a masterpiece. Battles with bosses could been more epic. A lot were very boring and repetitive attacks. The story was a bit boring too. No mysteries. All explained in the first seconds.
It's a little late for a video like this, don't you think. Unless you think it's going to convince developer to push game back another year

Based on the thumbnail, you would think Outlaws came out before Fallen Order .. That’s a red flag on its own
After playing Fallen Order, I'm holding off on Survivor and playing Outlaws instead. If I spend $70 I want a lot of replay value.
And plus this game is 30 hours for main story and survivor it takes 12 hours for main story
Glad you mentioned Jedi Survivor's technical issues. I refuse to buy it even now because of them, and the fact that the game doesn't come on the disc

Whatever this game does, it's gonna be second fiddle to the two newer Star Wars Jedi games. But would love for the game to prove me wrong, b/c nothing shown so far has jumped out to me. Will have to see.

This game looks fun - interested to see how it shakes out. Will be fun to be a scoundrel in the Star Wars world.
I just played Battlefront 2 (2005) for the first time the other day and that looks more fun than this.
Why do these AAA single player games think we need little companions all the time?
Getting valhalla vibes from this. All the collectibles will be shitty ship/speeder skins or parts. Guarantee most of outfits for the character will be in the "shop"
The title has ESG money written all over it.
Maybe learn to make a game about Star Wars, the empire, the sith and the Jedi (the cool stuff) and not about Dora the Explorer and Tin the Tinman
I will definitely compare, even if I shouldn't. I thoroughly enjoyed the Star Wars Jedi games and hope that Outlaws will also be enjoyable
I honestly think Outlaws is going to be a better game overall, I know most dark souls/melee user fans won't agree but all jokes aside Outlaws will be a better game because it alone is not just another jedi.
Loved playing Jedi 1 since don't want to buy Ps5 or S|X yet, I am waiting for Jedi 2 for Ps4 and XOne.
Wow I already knew it was possible but Star Wars Outlaws looks so much better than Jedi Survivor and "In my Opinion" most definitely plays better
Since Ubisoft lost their art of gaming and direction there is no hype or trust anymore in their games, their last few games are good not great.
I guess we can only hope this compares to the New Indiana Jones game coming out soon

Hoepfully Star Wars Outlaw doesn't replicate the glitches and bugs from both Jedi games from EA. Those games had horrible rendering and the world looked like clay

Despite the terrible performance optimization, Jedi survivor is one of the very best star wars games, the Cal Kestits series argueably is a masterpiece, but this outlaw is just another UBISOFT nonsense raped by woke agenda.

There's room for both. I've been playing Jedi Knight Outcast and Academy on my Meta Quest, and I'd honestly be into doing an all ranged weapon run, because both weapon types are a blast.

I wanna play a game as either a Jedi or someone directly related to the main storyline. Not an inconsequential NPC that I will forget about an hour later.
Also, they butchered the face of the main character compared to how the real actress looks. 😂
