ORDEN OGAN - to new shores of sadness - NEW RECORD "vale"

This song is perfect. Musical genius really. First heard it in 2008 I think on some metal podcast called The Metal Madman, back in the Myspace days haha. Got into Orden Ogan immediately and I've liked everything they've ever done still to this day. I don't even know exactly what genre of metal this is, I always assumed it's progressive/power metal? But looking back on it now, maybe it could be considered folk metal? Idk, I typically listen to thrash and classic metal but I have times where I listen to technical power metal type of stuff, and Orden Ogan is always a favorite. And everyone I've shown them to thinks the same, yet it still doesn't seem like this band is very recognized in North America. I assume they're very popular in Europe though.

It is power metal with triplets really. Their earlier stuff were more headed towards folk metal though.

Fazit von W:O:A, Wackinger Stage: HOLY SHIT! :-o Sound perfekt, Acting perfekt (ey, echte Rampensäue *hehe*) und gestaubt hats auch mächtig. Wer die Buben live sieht, geht ausgepowert und mit einem fetten Grinsen im Gesicht vom Platz....
