If you have provided everything to the Case Officer / Immigration as per request, then you can click 'I confirm' basically what it means, notifying them that you have provided the documents as per request, then, they can go ahead to make a decision on your application

Meaning if you have done your medical or Biometrics and if those results have been submitted to Immigration, that's what it means 'last updated , or if the Immigration sent you a further request, the date will change

hello, long story short i started a partner visa and still have to submit police checks and medical exams and it says i have 28 days from the time of it being requested but i didn't see the email till today which leaves me with 9 days to do it. i doubt ill get the results from those within that time so should I submit screen shots once the appointments have been made to show that I'm in the process of getting them done and click confirm on the visa documents so they know I'm trying to get them ? or is it a lost cause? or is there a way to request more time ? also do i have to be back in aus before they make a decision if i do manage to get the docs in? because I'm in Canada right now . please help
Don't click I confirm until you have completed them. You can request an extension and explain the reason for asking for an extension, including evidence that you are obtaining the docs..

If there is no button 'I confirm' means your Case officer did not activate the option. Perhaps You can send an email to your Case to notify her / him tha you have attached the requested docs to Immi account. Or wait until the end of specified time period

All documents that you attached will be considered as long as your application has not yet decided

If you have not been requested to provide further information/documents, the Status will stay as 'Received' to 'finalised'

When is it is 'finalised' you should received a decision FROM IMMIGRATION on your application either VISA GRANT LETTER or REFUSAL LETTER

It will get processed, however your CO may look at your application when the timeframe is due, for instance 28days.
