Man you have to make rally more popular again, those 3 min highlights are ridiculous, half of the time you got those nonsense interviews. We need more onboards, more track time, more atmosphere. Let’s cut those interviews for example and instead give us more onboard sounds with the pace notes of the co-driver. With all the respect there is so much potential it‘s a shame imo.

Eh, it's complicated...
- Teams may enter a maximum of 6 rallies in Europe with the best 5 results contributing to the championship points. Teams are also permitted to enter a seventh rally outside Europe for bonus points.
- Drivers and/or Co-Drivers must enter a maximum 7 rallies and the best 6 results contribute to championship points.
- Teams, drivers and co-drivers need to indicate on the entry form for each rally if they intend to nominate it as one of their scoring rounds. For this reason (and the requirement for teams to enter two cars), it is not unusual for teams, drivers and co-drivers to enter multiple rounds yet nominate and score points in different rounds to each other.

Basically, as AstroLogical already explained, they can only nominate a certain number of events per season. Crews (especially those fighting for the championship) will often be strategic about their points nominations, choosing rounds which are not as strongly contested (so they don't have to beat their main rivals in a straight fight) or rallies in which they have the best chance to score big points. For Škoda drivers, it may be a good idea to not nominate tarmac rounds, since Citroen is quite dominant on tarmac (while Škoda is much stronger on gravel), leaving Škoda drivers with just a small chance of victory on rounds such as Croatia. Yet, it is still a good idea to take part (if it's financially possible), simply to stay sharp and gain more experience of the car and more experience of different events.
Just a note, pretty sure power stage points were ditched in WRC2, starting this season.

Sorry, i'm probably missing something as i'm not so knowledgeable in the WRC scene, but where are all the finnish drivers? Aren't they participating?
Kalle Rovanpera and Esapekka Lappi are both part time drivers, and aren’t driving in this rally

@@andreiionescu205 He knows there's more to life than just championships. He has other interests apart from rallying, just like any other young person does (he competes in drifting, he's also trying his hand at circuit racing, and he probably wants to rest and spend some time with his friends and family). He's only 23, yet he's been rallying regularly for over 10 years now and competing professionally since like 2017. I honestly think taking a break is a very mature decision from him. He'll be back full time next year.

In Korea, a small country in Asia that no one recognized, Hyundai Motor's brand has now been manufactured with advanced technology enough to go to the wrc racing race, but Koreans are not interested in motorsports. Too Sad Reality 🇰🇷
Everyone knows Korea though and yeah it's a shame they didn't have capable home drivers for their own brand
