I wanna say, I used to be a very FAITHFUL & COMMITTED MEMBER in 2 of the MEGA CHURCHES, I personally decline DISCLOSURE, to avoid any OFFENCE, caused to man or God;
But, yet, yes I know I had my FLAWS, which I do believe, there's no SERIOUS BELIEVER in CHRISTENDOM, who doesn't have SETBACKS, SPIRITUALLY or PSYCHOLOGICALLY;
But, you know, as DEDICATED & HARDWORKING as I was, I was still a NOBODY, financially and independently: FAMILY were the one taking of all my WANTS and NEEDS, but when one of my family members required URGENT MEDICAL ATTENTION, I went to them to assist, raise the AMOUNT to fix the ISSUE, they craftily found REASON to wriggle out...
Since then, I haven't gone back, I have managed, by God's GRACE to sponsor the TREATMENT partially, which the person is managing with that...
So, my man, nobody should rely or trust in anyone, because he's God's REPRESENTATIVE, for ever man for himself...

Hiring a pastor? Taking them off the street to give them means of employment?? That is where they failed. I am neither a Winner nor Chosen but I will talk in ignorance on how much salary they should pay when I don't have all the facts about their finances. Treatment of sickness in hospital is a private responsibility either in government jobs or private job. Financial assistance can be given to a sick staff, but how is it a crime if a Church is not in position to take up the full bill either at home or abroad? Well done Sir Peters for being a voice of the people in our generation. But I must say even Jesus Christ called going about the father's work a business. I have a lot to say but I will keep it simple. I'm not a religious person but have you ask your self which organisation hires you, pay for your house rent and church rent and still pays you salary on time without owing you. The truth is, if you go about doing the Father's business with all your heart you will prosper.

Mr Chinedu, in my church pastors are not been paid, they're encouraged to work or do business while they pastor their local assembly just like Paul admonished. Been a pastor in a particular church doesn't mean you shouldn't do anything else. I have many senior colleagues who pastors in different churches and they're living an examplary life. Pastoral work is not full time but some people are very lazy what will a pastor teaches his members if he depends on them for everything. 2 Thessalonian 3V6-10 the church never forbid them to work but there are very lazy set of people.
