Someone forgot that Ymir was still by his side... Remember the one who makes Titans out of sand in the Path. At that moment, Ymir was still 'in love' with the king; therefore, not entirely free. Eren only opened her eyes and offered himself as her weapon to keep moving forward but still needed the King's blood connection to control the Wall Titans. Only the act of Mikasa killing Eren made Ymir understand that she could go against her love and finally be free.
@@romanus5896 It could also have been the Halicugenia worm. It's clear that it is some sort of parasite that uses it power to tie itself to other organisms and give them powers. If Eren was defeated and the power of the titans destroyed, it would have no host. Since the Halicugenia is the source of the titan powers and it was fighting with Reiner to survive, it might have given Eren the Colossal titan as a last resort to save itself. We know that the Halicugenia can turn Eldians into titans and control other titans, since it changed all the non-titanshifter/non-Ackerman Eldians into pure titans to distract Reiner. Basically the Halicugenia is the source of the Founder's and all titans' powers and thus can also change Eldians into different kind of titans. However it seems to need to host to stay alive and have its powers properly wielded, that's why it ties itself to humans. However, as great a writer Hajime Isayama is, the fact that this fact was not explained and we need to speculate about how and why Eren could change into the Colossal is still a plot hole that the mangaka forgot to address
or maybe isayama didnt think of that at the moment, he is incredible created all this story but still 10 years in the making... maybe at that time, yeeeeeeeears ago, he planned the wall titans would activate with light and then no, just like the first time the colossal appears its a lighting and normal, third time he transformed with everyone near and no harm done, but then the idea was: colossal transforming = nuke. I know the theory that the colossal is suposed to be able to control that, but ... his intention was to break the walls and kill everyone on paradis, so why not use a nuke istead of a normal transformation and kicking the door?
Because that might break the entire wall and expose the wall titans to sunlight and activate an accidental Rumbling. So that's why the Marley warriors only tried a controlled transformation and a careful breach of the brick gates of Wall Maria
I wouldn't say "unmeasurable". We clearly see pretty much all the recreated former shifter titans are connected to Eren and only die when that connection is severed. But we also mysteriously don't see the Colossal titans, which should by all accounts be normal titans, leave human bodies behind. The series of course never says, but I have to disagree that they are only able to move "on command" as both in the manga and anime we see its eye suddenly move when light hit it. This does beg the question... what happened to the people in the titans? I *think* this is actually answered a lot earlier than we may have thought... Remember how Eren spending a LOT of time transforming into a titan he began to fuse with it? It got so bad in the tests Hanji had to cut him off and Eren had to regenerate his face. This happened after a full day of testing. Now think of it like this... Ymir spent 60 or so years as a pure titan before becoming a shifter. She ate Marcel and became a shifter but MOST IMPORTANTLY... by becoming a shifter she can regenerate her body which would have been pretty much fully fused with her titan by this point. These wall titans have been like this for at LEAST 100 years. Eren removed ALL titan powers when he dies at the end of the manga... *including* regeneration. And these titans didn't just go *poof* or get raptured away instantaneously, they withered away slowly... This leaves TWO possibilities: 1) The people inside the titans were so fused to the titan already that there was nothing to save, so they withered away with the bodies. Or 2) Disturbingly, they were reformed, but the heat from within the titans was so great it killed them before they could come out again. Remember, normal titans are hot but only so much, so the others were a bit sweaty but alright... can we say the same for those inside the wall titans? The series really should have done a better job clarifying this, because as is, we have zero confirmation if they are anything as noted in the video above... we also don't know if they are indeed "millions" of them either as some other sources in Attack on Titan put the number much lower.
the wall titans are pure titans, they are unintelligent, the founder can turn any subject of ymir into a titan, obviously the colossal titan is the biggest so he used that for the walls. Them not being able to move is because of the absence of light in the walls. So most probably they would eat humans if they were exposed to light
Gross did prove that they could control the size of the titans that are created, so yeah maybe Fritz did just change his own followers into colossal sized pure Titans. But if that's the case then it is strange that they don't start trying to eat everyone after Zeke dies.
@@aot_enthusiast thats true. But technically shouldnt eren still have control of the wall titans because he "freed" ymir? this would mean zeke is useless in the scenarious
@@violentcrimes1 Eren did not free Ymir from her love of the king. But somewhat opened her eyes and pretty offered himself as a weapon for her. It is Mikasa who freed her, by killing the one she loved the most. Which proved to Ymir that she could act against her love.
Wall Titans are Pure Titan but not came from human (subject of Ymir), that's the reason why when Eren was defeated, there's no single wall Titans revert back to human but simply evavorate. Poor Ymir, she make all of those wall Titans, even though they appear in an instant by the order of founding Titan, Ymir made them one by one in the "path", single wall Titan could consume months or even a year to construct, let alone 500,000 of them (10 millions are just exaggeration)
The wall titans are colossal titans, their feet are 10 meters buried underground. This is stated in an story of AoT stating that someone digged 10 meters near the walls and found hard stone under. This is the colossal titan’s feet. Since you need a good foundation for a wall for it to be in place.
look I'm late but everyone is saying they were made out of nothing Only titans able to do that are the Founder and Warhammer titan but they both have a white-gray version of it, which when the user is deleted they despawn pure titans that were subjects were fleshy, including shifters, crazy part is that wall titans were fleshy-- implying eldians were in them, but when Eren was deleted nothing came out of them...
This channel takes the deepest dive in all the concepts behind AoT. Great Work man.
I'm glad you like the videos!
Eren lost control of the rumbling titans because Zeke was killed but transformed into a collosal titan later on?
Big plothole..

Damn every time I see Pastor Nick I think "Praise The Walls!"
i love attack on titan
it has already explained in the story. clearly bro didnt watch it
You know attack on Titan would be leagues better if the Titans were caused by a biological weapon that got released and humanity did almost die out
not just better it's legendary
Plot twist after the season 3 Marley reveal plot twist, it actually IS the apocalypse after all. And humanity outside the wall DID die.

It could be that Pastor Nick had no idea what would happen and didn't want to risk the rumbling starting
What happens if a titan shifter drinks Zeke's spinal fluid and he screams.
maybe it's just about turning peeps into titans
