The ranked system in this game is beyond bad. I am ex Crimson player from MW2 and i've been getting ex iri / crimson and even current crimson vs me since gold rank (well the current crim have been popping up since plat though), I mean how are you supposed to progress in this game if you keep getting enemy's ranked top 10% when you are sitting in lower ranks :') My SR gains are all the way from 20-40 which is very bad and I feel like the algorithm behind this is just trying to keep us on grinding, and I am up the the point of just stop playing cuz I cant be arsed anymore. Oh and ye, i am Plat 3 hardstuck.
I had the same issue coming from MW2. Was a diamond player in MW2 and when i started MW3 ranked play, i was still matching up against some ex diamonds and crims from MW2.

While we are actually struggeling they want the "new" players to feel like they are progressing and get hoocked like us. "Ranked" as we know it does not exist anymore.. unfortunately 😢
Multiplayer ranked is stupid, hidden performance sr gains is a joke. Warzone ranked is real ranked play, has a set amount of sr for wins, kills, assists, and placement
I got up to 250 SR for a win until gold 1, and then it *immediately* dropped down to like 50-60 until I hit diamond. Once I hit diamond I went back up to 80-100 SR per win. I think there’s a hard-cap in those mid tiers, especially if you start playing mid-season like I did this season. It’s likely a hidden system to prevent smurfs from plaguing the higher tiers, at least that’s what I feel is happening. Once you get to diamond or hit level ~25 the game finally believes that you aren’t smurfing and it’ll give you regular lobbies again. I climbed to gold in just 7 levels, but didn’t reach diamond until I was level 20. Now I’ve reached diamond iii in 5 more levels (level 25 now) and the SR per win has picked up a ton since then. Those mid-tiers are *weird*, I was seeing the same names that I used to see in iridescent back on MWII and we were all like “yo what the fuck is going on, these are the sweatiest gold / plat lobbies I’ve ever seen”. It was lowkey jokes and fun to play these guys again, but also super annoying that it was in plat and not in crim / iridescent where we belong. In plat I used to break out of those ‘ex-iri’ lobbies sometimes, and when we played what I’d consider ‘normal’ diamonds me and my team would absolutely frag out. There are multiple tiers of MMR in ranked, at least for low-level accounts. One person in diamond could be absolutely stomped by someone stuck in gold just because they’re being matched against people in a completely different tier.
I just started the ranked grind (Im probably High Diamond-Low crim based off past games) and all of my bronze games were full of diamonds and plats on enemy team lol. I get like 200 SR a win in Silver and Gold
Went on a 14 streak today (platinum) my SR capped out at 45 per game, consistently top player of the lobby. Started out gold 3. Playing against plats and diamonds. Lost 58 SR on the first loss… makes no sense to me
Really depends.. I just hit Crim, had been previously queueing with Crim buddies and I've been struggling hard.. Maybe 30-35 sr a win. Decided to solo queue all day today, lobbies felt insanely easier and was getting 50-65 sr per win and was able to blow through my last 300sr to Crim1. I'm starting to think that the key is to 4-stack with dudes who are exactly your level, maybe ONE rank lower.
50 to 70 sr is pretty good,the game takes in consideration your pub stats as well btw,and only your performance is taken in consideration in the lower ranks like plat,(that's why You shouldn't even compare your self to a pro😅)where in crim and even High diamond, you're still gonna get low sr even with a 50 bomb in controll if the game was close,because in the higher ranks It takes team work more into consideration,im stuck crim 2 btw😂 probably can get to crim 3 but iri without a solid 4 stack this year is almost impossible
SR is based on many aspects of personal performance and team performance, mainly whether your team wins or loses, KD in and of itself, and KD compared to team mates and your opposition, objective points, point spread on win or loss, and the time it takes to win or lose…

I was hardstuck diamond 2, we got a 4 stack and played 10 games, lost 2. My sr went upto 76. I haven’t played since then as I’m on vacation, but maybe that’s helped I don’t know
if u drop avg 35+ kills every game for 10-15matches no mather loss or win youre hidden mmr will go up and the game will give u more per win. im iridescent myself and i get 100-140per win. my brother was in gold, and he got like 20-30sr per win, but when i played for a weekend maybe 20games i had avg 40-50 kills on hp and control then i started to get above 180sr per win so i ranked him up to crimson since he liked the operator-skin. the point is that the hidden mmr will change after youre stats per game gets improved even if you lose the game.

Make youre mind-set think that good is not good enough, you always have to try youre best, and if best isnt enough than you gotta train and play more, and after everygame you should reflect on the game, what can i do better in the next game etc.
There’s also a lot of what rank you were in mw2 I was a plat3 and just didn’t play the game after that at all Started mw3 got high SRs till plat1 and then it’s like 30-40sr no matter the performance in a game I feel like game thinks i belong in plat since i was max Plat last game
Nah, the rank you were in MWII doesn’t affect your experience at all, at least in my experience. I was an iri player in MWII and I was hard-stuck in gold / plat this season, playing against the same people that I used to see in iri last year. Once I got to diamond it finally evened itself out though. I think you’re better off playing ranked at the beginning of the season, otherwise the game assumes you’re a smurf account and it won’t let you climb unless you put in some serious time. Once I hit level 20 I was flying through the ranks, even diamond. But after reaching gold at level 7 I was stuck in gold / plat until level 20. Hit diamond at level 20 and now I’m diamond iii at level 24, with my SR per win being bumped up to 80-100 when it was only 30-40 in gold / plat. The competition is also way easier in diamond than it was in gold now that it’s evened out, it’s super weird.
Got 45 kill game whilst being gold 1 went positive by 15 top of leader board 5 captures on control had a 9 streak and got 25 SR my boy who is silver got 53 SR and went negative by 7

The game has given me 35 sr since I started ranked (it’s my first time playing it) I just made plat and still get around 35 sr… if I lose no matter what rank it’s always around 25 sr loss.. 😭
Im playing solo, atm im stuck at Dia3.. Had +70 SR but after the update they changed something on the matchmaking ( or bad luck), had to play vs lvl 15 crimson 3 while in my team where also crims but lvl 50 😅 Sometimes they end a S&D round with only 2 kills or something like 9/21 in Control. I cannot carry this and lost 9 games 😅 after that i won again some and just gained 27sr
My kd is 0.84 but my win lose ratio is like 2.70 my team is just so good i play objective and my team hold their place and kills everyone, but they rank faster then me

From what I can tell there is no way to drastically improve your HPR. Solo queuing I have a 1.5kd with a 2 win/loss ratio and am getting 40-70 SR per win in gold. Yesterday I went on a 16 game win streak and nothing changed. I’m in exclusively plat/diamond lobbies as a gold. My skill is around high plat/low diamond. HPR doesn’t make sense in a ranked mode, that’s what the rank is for in the first place. This system doesn’t allow for you to have bad games, especially at the start of the grind. Super frustrating. Let me at least get to where I am supposed to be before you put me in lobbies that equalize my skill.
So in short if you not good enough you stuck in Gold like me 😅, nothing you can do . I get 50-60 per win and -30 per loss , made it to Gold II , than loss after loss , most of the time im at top of the leaderboard in the team , nothing i can do, lost over 200 SR in the last 2 days

Sounds like your the problem. Getting out of gold should be a cake walk maybe turn on your mic and make callouts even if you're the only one that makes a huge difference.

I had an 11 lose streak in gold 3, bouncing me back to 2900 SR. Lost aboit 350 sr in those games.. but got it all back.. Now thats not the worst part. After that streak.. my sr gain/loss has changed dramatically in the form of hardstuck. Losing 30-32 and only gaining 28 from a good game. Like 25-30 kills and 100 points on the hill.. top fragging. Im done for this season

ive gotten 36 sr on the game i got a 7 streak, topped the whole lobby, and only 36
i am very inconsistent though, ill shoot lasers one day then the next its like i got no aim assist
