When I hear it, I always remember my school days
I had no friends in middle school. No matter how hard I tried to talk to anyone, I was always ignored. But if I did make a friend, they always forgot about me, even if I tried to keep the friendship going by talking to them everyday. It was such a common thing to make a friend just for them to just forget me that easily. But the ones who didn't try to be friends with me just ignored me no matter how loud I spoke. I felt like I wasn't there... Like a ghost. So I was completely alone. I was scared to be alone, scared to just be forgotten about. I was alone for most of middle school that I didn't know who I was. Honestly, the middle school I went to was extremely violent. One time I saw 3 fights in one morning. I was terrified to go back.
Because of my fear of being alone, I thought I was going to be alone forever. I was wrong, I'm no longer alone. For my experiences, this is how I can relate.

When I was in middle school, I didn't have any friends because I'm not really good at people. Well, people do talk to me but they never considered me as their 'friend', after they talk to me, they just walk away and talk to their friends. I decided to never talk to anyone except for my teacher's and my family.
One day, we got a new neighbor, my parents decided to say hi to them and... I didn't want to but still said yes. I met this guy named Alan, I tried to turn him down whenever he talks to me but he wouldn't. He would always ran up to me and talk, he never left me and he keeps saying that he wants to be my friend. That's when I realized that I was not alone anymore. I told him my problems and talked to him more often. I moved to another school with Alan. I decided to make some friends and I did. I wasn't alone anymore, I made good friends.
