I really dislike how they removed Ratchet and Clank's fallout from the first game. Their character development was what made the story so interesting, and it lacks the perfect ending that was seen in the first game. Oh well, hopefully the movie will go into more detail about their character development. Awesome game though
I know that this is two years later but, it's not much better in the film.

Why am I not surprised Nefarious turned out to be the main villain... BECAUSE HE'S JUST THAT GOOD! :D

Drek is the main villain
I had mixed feelings about this, even being almost three years later. One one hand, I am a die-hard fan of the Future Saga and wished to see it continue, and on the other hand, it's nice that they tried to make an homage to the first game, but the first was better, as is typical for most forms of entertainment.

This is why automated animation will never beat normal cutscenes, the 2002 cutscenes are fluid, bouncy, and entertaining. Here they are boring, the characters are dead pan most of the time, and half the time the faces don't match the current mood.
It looks pretty, and the acting is better, the story is somewhat better... I don't like how Ratchet and Clank are instant buddy-buddy... But one thing I can't stand is how they all look so damn lifeless. Especially compared to the original, they have no movements to coincide with their acting, kinda... Really sad.
I think the new Rangers are bland, probably should have used the robot versions instead.
I'm actually surprised there was no post credit stinger teasing Nefarious' survival. I seriously hope they didnt just flat out kill him off. I wanna see a full on game/film trillogy happen. I dont care if we have to wait 3 years in between games, I'd love to have 3 games and films all together on my shelf. Having Nefarious come back for the 3rd instalment would be awesome.

There is no post credits. I know from the PS2 games and the future series that he gets turned into a Robot, I played those games as a kid. But this game is a brand new retelling of the story.You cant predict what the next game's story will have in it. For all we know, Dr Nefarious may actually be dead. I mean, sure I doubt thats the fact, but at this point in time, we can only treat it as such in this canon.

Something pretty stupid I just realized was that I’m pretty sure Aridia was supposed to be a desert planet. In the og game the ground seems to look green because it’s night but you can tell it’s supposed to be sand cause there are cactuses and well... I think there is a reason they’re called *SAND* Sharks. It’d be a bit weird if they were swimming in dirt as opposed to sand which is defs easier to move around in. It’s interesting that they just full on made the planet grassy in the reimagining.
Hopefully they'll branch off from this game into its own story. Then they could make Nefarious into a robot in the second game and have his butler come back.
If the remake the second game, I wonder how they're going to pull it off. At the end of the original Ratchet and Clank, Qwark was still a kinda bad guy, but in this version he redeems himself, so it'll be interesting seeing how they're going to re-write Qwark's evil deed in Ratchet and Clank 2.
Probably won't be Quark, something like an evil twin or a rogue clone or something, or Drek if they can bring him back somehow...
I unironically enjoyed this movie.
I wish they showed Nefarious turning himself into a robot like they did in the movie.

The only thing is missing after the End Credits is over which is the epilogue scene from the Movie/Film scene.

I like to think of this game as also based on the film but also a retelling of a fictional movie and game from Qwarks side of the story.
I have finally defeated Dr Nefarious and Chairman Drek wasn't there in the end of the game like 49:09 that's the part when Nefarious sheepinated Drek and never seen again but at the task "Locate the Gravity Stabiliser" i still hear Drek talking

+Aaron Manzo No, of course not. If your weren't able to tell (and lets face it, who can blame you) half of these cutscenes arent even from the movie, they're live rendered in the game itself. The movie wont have any of the prison scenes, and probably all the side story stuff like Skidd wont be in it either. The movie is all story, while the game glosses over the story and focuses on the action in between.

Not in the Video game but in the movie just after we see the actors/actresses that did the characters we see Dr. Nefarious' repair bots finding him in another planet and turn him into a cyborg or something. And after all the credits we see the plumber guy and he says to the audience to go home now and the movie's over.
Wow how did this guy didn't get copy right but I did. And this got all the movie scenes in it.

44:16 Ratchet doesn't even look up a the character hes talking to, they just copy and paste every character entity in these mid-game cutscenes and have lip movements roughly shoved in. Such a farce, they ruined the cinematics and went for a lifeless hald-assed 'triple A' game. At least the gameplay looks and feels good, but it doesn't make up for it at all in my opinion.

I actually took the time to look this video up for this specific scene 5:57 because I wanted to know if it was as bad as I heard it was and yep you suddenly cut from a joke to a random room on a random planet where all the main villains we’ve never been introduced too are talking about something we know nothing about then it suddenly cuts again to some random conveyer belt and oh my god is the pacing just awful

What a way to ruin a classic. No grim Oltanis level ominous massacre and Ratchet quips like a basic 80's bully. Making the game THIS kid friendly and trying to squeeze every ounce of what makes it good is exactly what detracts from it. Simple, smooth, and compelling is what this series was known for... Now it's Disney features: another furball and machine! OLD R&C was like pb&j, rush hour, and breaking bad.
