Yep, this one was definitely a good one. Absolutely worth watching. Yes, you’ll have a few rolling of the eyes in disbelief, but you’ll be on the edge of your seat throughout the entire movie. Very well done, indeed.
I used to work on a Degauzing barge at CFB ESQUIMALT on Vancouver Island it's where you completely wrap a ship from Bow to Stern with a 2inch rubber insulated electrical wire cable in which we would send thousands of electrical volts Through to basically demagnetize the ship. This is WWII Old School technology that is still used today
Holy cow what a great movie!!! Insanely good! I was rivetted the whole time! Not to the ship - to the movie! lol One of the best concepts I've ever seen. I dare say better than The Final Countdown! Imagine when that B-2 pops into 1943...

This is like a sequel to "The Philadelphia Experiment" which starred Michael Pare, who was in this movie as well (see end rolling credits). Pretty cool!
That was actually pretty good. Not a huge budget obviously, but they made the best of what they had and the cast did a good job and the story was an interesting take on the whole "Philadelphia Experiment" legend. 👍👍
Have been a big fan of the original, with Michael Pare…….this was very good also.A big Sci Fi fan….should checkout Finall countdown another time travel G
I love these old science fiction movies. So they’re traveling at a high rate of speed. Being shot at by. A grenade launcher. And a fully automatic M-16. But her main concern. Is when they’re crashing through a wooden fence. She cries “oh my God.“ Yeah, that’s the scariest part. 😂
Just to be pedantic: The USS Eldridge was NOT a Battleship. Not even close. It was a Destroyer Escort, which is smaller than a Destroyer, which is smaller than a Cruiser, which is smaller than a Battleship. Just to give you a hint at the difference: the USS Eldridge displaced 1240 tons when launched in 1943, the USS Wisconsin (an Iowa class Battleship) launched the same year displaced 48110 tons. The main armament of the USS Eldridge was three 3-inch guns. The main armament of the USS Wisconsin was nine 16-inch guns.
@garygrant91The term "pedantic" is often used as an insult to describe someone who irritates others by focusing on trivial details, correcting minor mistakes, or showcasing their own expertise in a narrow or dull subject. The word originates from the Italian term "pedant" and the French "pédant," both of which mean "teacher" or "schoolmaster." In Shakespeare's era, a "pedant" specifically referred to a male schoolteacher. However, by the early 1600s, the word pedantic had come to describe someone who was overly devoted to their own academic knowledge. If you read this far which I hope you do. Thank you for the information. The USS Eldridge (DE-173) was a Cannon-class destroyer escort in the United States Navy during World War II. Construction: Launched on July 25, 1943 by Federal Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Co. in Newark, New Jersey. Service: Departed for the Pacific on May 28, 1945, and arrived in Okinawa on August 7. Transfer: Transferred to Greece on January 15, 1951 under the Mutual Defense Assistance program. The ship was named after Lieutenant Commander John Eldridge Jr., who led an operation for the invasion of the Solomon Islands. The USS Eldridge is also associated with the Philadelphia Experiment, a conspiracy theory that claims the ship was involved in a secret U.S. Navy experiment during World War II. The theory alleges that the ship was made invisible to radar or teleported. However, research and investigations have found no evidence to support the claims. As we know today many Conspiracy Theory have been proven to be true. I can only think this is why we have stealth technology l(ow observable technology LO technology) of fighter jets. The term stealth covers a range of methods used to make personnel, aircraft, ships, submarines, missiles, satellites, and ground vehicles less visible (ideally invisible) to radar, infrared, sonar and other detection methods. It corresponds to military camouflage for these parts of the electromagnetic spectrum (i.e., multi-spectral camouflage). Source: Google
While the movie had all the plot contrivances of a standard B-movie, it was still a lot of fun to watch things playout. Malcolm McDowell felt pasted in to have his name on the poster, and Michael Paré was clearly hired as a throwback to the original (in which he played the Lieutenant). It very much has the vibe of Canadian made for TV fare, like 'Travellers' or 'Continuum'. I wouldn't be surprised to find overlapping talent in the production teams.
Never thought I'd see myself cheering for Krychek... 🙄😂 Great film... that was one evil "female dog" !!... 😮 (YT censorship strikes again... but I think y'all know who I'm talkin about)
one of the best B movie I have watched in a long time. Thumbs up to all the cast and the production team.

Solid Cast. Great performances from the veterans to the newbies.

i have seen a being walk right thru their dimension infront of my very eyes.. amaze i am.. in a super computer enverioment.
GDIT pulls hundreds of thousands of yards of cable. But it's inside the ship and more than 1/2 of it is fiber optic cable! 🤫
Mighty important technology when the Enemy Mines were triggered magnetically. 🙂
Im ex Navy and was on a ship, that while is dry dock did the same, but alas no time travel or invisibility to talk of!
@@brian64077 i have seen n have their pic... they normally works among super servers n computers.. trust me.

You know for a low budget flick that really wasn't too bad
Nice movie, thanks for the uppload.

Excellent B movie. I had so much fun working on projects like this back in the good old days.
Wow, this was an excellent movie. Better than the woke Hollywood crap we’ve been watching.
I wish I could give you more than one thumbs up!
Exciting! No more realistic than any other sci-fi time travel movie but better than most.
I wonder if this is the updated version of the Philadelphia Experiment. The first movie came out in 1984.
There was Philadelphia experiment 2
Yes, I was thinking the same.
Excellent piece of movie. Loved it so much ❤😊🥰
Thank you for sharing it.
Very good movie 👽👍

Eddie goes on a Cruiser...
I love Final Countdown too. Unfortunately I cant find it anywhere.
This is a very good sci-fi movie. It has two notable actors, who have performed in a few other major sci-fi movies.
The movie is called The Philadelphia experiment, there is older and even better version.
So this is also the same title as the 1984 (better) version? Is the story the same or changed as they tend to do?
Much better version they always mess up trying to repackage the good stuff
I quite agree. The original was better, whereas this is a rather overproduced imitation. Not terrible. but just not as good as the original.
Good movie worth watching
Excellent Production I must say 👍👍
Good one 👍👍👍well done , nice ending 👏👍👏
I was in this movie! Finally found it!
That was great!!! Thanks, y'all. 😁
Thank you 😊

Pleasantly surprised. Quite a rollicking good yarn.
Second time watching and wow, it is still a cool movie.
I thought it was a great movie, and entertaining. Thanks for sharing.
Amazing movie!!!!
good movie with a great script ...
anybody else notice at the end the guy mentions flux capacitor? a nod to back to the future.
i thought I hear Capacitator?
Love this movie.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Good movie. I enjoyed it.
Good movie. Worth the effort. Glad the villains get what's coming to them.
Never explains why Hagan hates Bill so much.
HAGEN WAS THE STAR IN AN EARLIER VERSION OF THIS STORY
@@dragmakeupforolder6784 David Herdig was Pare's character from the first movie. Not Hagan.
Good movie. Philadelphia Experimental 3.
This is an updated version. The original version has the sailor staggering around a small town.

I had no idea, tanks for the info
Being an old Shellback, I understand your irritation. It rattles me when drongos call ships, boats and submarines ships!!
@@ArrDee49 Spacecraft are called ships also. Because space is like the sea somehow (I read this in a book).
