Turkey Hunting at Close Range During Wisconsin's Youth Turkey Season!

The Wisconsin Youth Turkey Season is a great program and allows young hunters an opportunity to harvest a bird before the regular seasons start. Hunting this early can be a challenge with birds being grouped up in large numbers but when the magic happens it can be quite a show! We had a roller coaster ride on this hunt and got to see some pretty incredible things out there in the woods. What an awesome memory!

Spent my childhood in Wisconsin fishing the lakes and rivers with my dad. Always cool to see you guys doing the Wisconsin thing.

Lots of em around here, southeast Michigan. I think there’s a youth hunt too, nice job. I saw a tom pecking on a chrome bumper on a truck once, just kept doing it maybe seeing its reflection?
