- In this video we are going to cover the road trip from Bangalore to Wayanad. We are going to take the Bangalore - Mysuru - Bandipur tiger reserve - Wayanad route. Do they check luggage at check points? It will be very inconvenient to pack luggage again in the middle of road.
No luggage checking done during our trip.

They checked for vaccination certificate (double dose) at Kerala entry.
No RT-PCR required.
No check at Karnataka border.

Hey @jean Pierre Bullot, please carry your vaccination certificate ( double dose). That is the only thing being verified at the checkpost.

How much was the overall Toll, entry for cars of other states, and any such checkpoints where a private car from different state gets charged for?
During our travel only nice road total was there otherwise, the Mysuru express way was under construction so no toll. Also there is no entry fees for private vehicles.
Can we carry liquor or will it be confiscated at the border checking??

Yeah it should be safe. We just have to be a little careful in the forest area.
Road condition is good ( as mentioned in the video).
Is there any permit charge for mini bus?.
We went by private vehicle, we did not have to pay any charges. Could be different for commercial vehicles.
What is the kerela govt charges for Karnataka number vehicle can u share..
We did not have to pay anywhere in Wayanad for our vehicle.
Hi how is the overall route, I am a new driver, I drive mostly in city and highway, but never driven in Ghat areas, will there be a problem in driving in this route ?
There are no ghats on the way to wayanad, towards edakkal there are some narrow roads with elevation. Within wayanad the roads are curvy and narrow.
Had the same question. I am not new driver. But this time going to drive a suv. Triber MT. I have also driven to Coorg but I dont know how the road in Waynad will be. So thanks for the answer.

Driving distance is not much so 1st day itself you can explore few spots.
3 days are good enough to check all spots.
In case you plan on doing chembar peak trek add another day.

No amount charged at any check-post to and fro Wayanad.
