Chloe - I love your videos and energetic disposition! I will be undergoing jaw surgery this week and rewatching your videos into recovery are helping me to remember why I started this all in the first place. Nervous but excited! Sending all the best from Spring like Ohio. 🤍
Hi, WOW! You are stunning! You remind me of Rachel Weisz back when she was younger. You’re a babe, girl! I’ve watched all your jaw surgery videos yesterday so it seems quite coincidental that you’ve just posted an update. I’ve had braces for almost a year and a half, I just got braces on my upper jaw yesterday. I’m gonna have to have double jaw surgery as well. Can’t say I’m looking forward to that. 🙈 I’m not sure when I’ll have the surgery, my orthodontist’s assistent said probably in about half a year. However, your videos are very motivational and make it seem like it’s not all so bad. ☺️ I’m a single mom with a three-year-old girl so still trying to figure out how I’m going to manage by the time they’re going to perform the surgery. 😅
Hi Angelique, Chloe’s mum here. Make sure you have someone to look after you when you are released from hospital. To help with your meds, making sure you have lovely smoothies with protein powders, and plenty of water. And your little one has someone to look after them too as they will be a little worried about you afterwards! As you will be very tired and need plenty of rest. All the very best with your jaw surgery.
Thanks for sharing! My last wire for my braces will be on next month I’ll be having surgery in late March or early April. You look great! You remind me of Lisa Loeb (singer from the 90s)☺️
Thank you so much for this! I'm a vocalist as well. I'm so curious to know if you had a vocal rehabilitation plan for yourself. How did you feel about your speaking and singing voice post-op?
I’m getting my double jaw surgery in 10 days I’m excited because I’ve been wanting this for so long but so nervous. Thank you for these videos and your results are amazing!!
@@kristentheresa7669 Yay that’s so exciting! I’m sure it will go really well. I’ll reply to you again once I’ve had it done and I’ll let you know how it is! :)
@@kristentheresa7669 had mine done yesterday wasn’t too bad, worst part is nose bleeds and mouth bleeds abs sure throat. Feeling a bit uncomfortable now but overall okay. Happy to answer any questions as my recovery goes on xx
Hi Chloe, thank you for making this video! How would you rate the pain level? I know we all have different pain tolerance but I’d like to know yours. I’m super scared to get mine done cuz I have a very low pain tolerance and I’m also a chicken lol
Hi Houda! Eeee thank you! I did notice my nose being *slightly* upturned, and actually the shape of my nostrils changed a little. My nose showed a lot of difference straight after the surgery, but once the swelling went down it settled and now doesn't look too different from pre surgery :) Thank you for your question!
Hey know you posted this a few months ago, but I’m currently about a week and a half into my recovery and was wondering when were you able to kind of smile normally again?
I'm scheduled to get this surgery December 17, but my city just announced that they are planning to reschedule most elective procedures (again...) so it's just a waiting game at this point to see if I am on that list. I'm praying they don't cancel mine but I'm freaking out because my next 6 week break will be December 2021 and I don't think I can wait another year.
It can be so frustrating playing the waiting game D: I ended up taking whatever date I could and then rearranging work and uni around it. It was a bit of a task but all worked out fine in the end x thinking of you!
@@ChloeEvans1 I've just heard from my surgeon and as expected, the surgery is postponed until February. Now it is scheduled during my second week back at university and I was supposed to be starting an internship the week before. I am thinking maybe I can get away with just taking 2 full weeks off and working it out with my boss and professors to do the work ahead of time. What are your thoughts? Is 2 weeks pushing it a bit?
Hi Sarah, thanks for the question! I thought that I would have been ok after two weeks to Gert back to work and study, but this surgery for me at least took a toll on my mental and emotional energy. I ended up taking 3 weeks off from work, and either finished uni work early or obtained a few extensions. see what your boss and your uni can do to work around it and give you the time you need to heal without stress! hope this helps somehow! x
Yessss Chloe, I have been waiting for this update! What a SMILE. I would like a singing video soon, pls.

Hi Pamina! My surgeon is Dr Sillifant in Tasmania :) I couldn't be happier with his work :)
Hiii chloe! I'm glad that I found your channel. Soon, I am going to undergo jaw surgery. Let's support each other, I am also a small youtuber. 😊
