- :Tarzan meets His wife Jane : The Legand Of Tarzan 2016 [HD]: The Scene Where Tarzan (john Clayton) meets His wife Jane Clayton for the first time in the movie
This was by no means a perfect movie, but one thing I really enjoyed was that they really embraced the majesty of such a timeless character. Every time He did something Tarzan-esque at the start, there's no music and little background noise, giving the reverence such a hero deserves.
Marvel Disneyfan eh, it wasn't really a "bad" movie though. It was just Tarzan and honestly people aren't into this type of shit anymore.
I feel like people were also a little too hooked on it being a remake of the Disney movie and forgot that there was an original Tarzan of the Apes by Edgar Rice Burroughs. I love his stories; if anything, I find Tarzan to be a unique superhero. He almost seems to be portrayed as one in the books.
@@mysteryme6655 what would that mean to the likes of Doc Savage, Zorro, Captain Nemo, and Sherlock Holmes then?
Despite the shortness of the scene, it does a good job establishing the Tarzan/Jane relationship. He knows his wife well enough to know her favorites, and she's not afraid of making opportunities to show off her husband's talents.
❤❤❤❤❤
What a husband should do, remember his wife's favourite things.....
Actually the coolest thing would be to replicate the noise
She likes to teach children with education.
i know I am kind of off topic but do anyone know a good website to watch newly released tv shows online ?
@@morganadriel9720 what kind cartoon anime live action tv ?
True and a wife as well
I love how they made his hand
It makes a lot of sense on the bone structure: on all fours for more than a decade would cause the bones to thicken as big as the bones on your feet.
Just imagine getting punched by those!
+TXNICK96 It's part of the reason why I'm practicing knuckle-walking. I want to be able to have large, broad hands that look like they can punch a man's jaw off.
The Batman Of Neo-Gotham Good luck.
That's where I'm at. I would push up on my fingers and looking at anyone else's hands just makes me wonder why my hands look thicker then anyone else's. My hands from the outer side from the palm are curved while anyone else's hands look straight. And it's due that I pushed pressure on my fingers which does change the structure of the bone.
Its been 3 years hows it going so far with that?
If I were to walk on all fours everyday without walking on two this would happen
im so in love with this movie!! margot and alexander did such an incredible job!! secretly wishing for a sequel
I hope they don't kill Akute in the sequel, it was bad enough to watch Kala die. DX
Agree
Omg that was Margot Robbie... am now buying this
He didn't meet his wife. "Reunite" is the word.
More like just came home,
this is definatley one of the better depictions of the character..I'm glad they left in this bit early on to show him as perfectly capable of living in either world...but still having his prefrences. And they pulled off the "animal empathy" bit without making it seem TOO over the top to the point of farce. I also particularly love that not all of the gorillas were precicely his FRIENDS...and the african tribesmen with a grudge were just as capable of manipulating the westerners as they were of being manipulated themselves.
This scene was so sweet!! Love this movie!
"look at his hands!" The way he said it and everyone went quiet is so funny 😭
Excellent film, I can't stop watching it....his accent, the way his head tilts, that BODY and such gentleness amid the chaos.... outstanding " I'm going to get some friends"... classic dry humor!
In the book, it was Lieutenant D'Arnot of the French navy that taught Tarzan to speak, therefore Tarzan should have spoken with a slight French accent, because French was his first human language.
I'm glad they showcased one of his abilities which is to imitate sounds of animals (and gunshots in the books)
When they see each other, it's the most precious thing
This Alex would make an excellent Rhaegar Targaryen if they decide to have Bran see a flashback of him.
I was legit thinking the same thing- keep his hair longer and have it a lighter color- the accent would work too
TChops 2019 ahhh yes that platinum blonde long hair would be beautiful with his face! And he’s so tall and magnificent
Hell yeah. First Eric Northman, then Tarzan, next up a Targaryen
I’d forgotten Margot was in this film. I’d recognize that smile anywhere!❤️❤️❤️
For me this is the best Tarzan movie ever made. It has everything......and than Love till death do us part.....Amaizing love
Boy a punch from Tarzan would send half a face flying, that's for sure
Half a body
Good thing he remembered her favorite bird. Woulda been awkward if he hadn’t, lol
Both biological and adoptive parent can be the real parents, Tarzan still saw Kala as his real mother in the Disney version even she was his adoptive mother.
Yeah, but this Tarzan was grieving Kala's death and was trying to leave his life as Tarzan behind; trying to just be John Clayton.
And gorillas are not "monkeys," as the little girl mistakenly asks.
1:23 Ooh, you just broke Kala's little heart there. Roasted!
Kala’s rolling in her grave
Well, his mum WAS Lady Alice Clayton. Kala was his foster mum.
This film needs a sequel
Agree
Yes they can even have the sequel focus on Tarzan's son.
Nah, it needs to be centralized around Tarzen's origins. But considering Hollywood's obsession with the woke movement, I don't think Tarzen's source material would sit will with them.
So charismatic. Thoigubt it might be cringe but they did it so well
Love 💗 this version of Tarzan !!!
I'm I the only one saying its Harley Quinn and Eric
+JustAnotherGirlWhoLovesMusic 1 I certainly hope so! The actors have actual names of their own.
Nope
This was a legit good, entertaining movie. Good and Entertaining. Two things Hollywood no longer knows how to make.
False.
Yeah...except in the books Tarzan practically despises the negros. Something Hollywood would NEVER replicate lol. But hey, at least they got his name right, which is Greystoke.
i liked this take on tarzan not the live action part, but having it where he had adapted to normal society (if there is such thing as normal) since they didn't get to explore that back in the cartoon version
This movie is more accurate to the book version of Tarzan. He learned to speak English all by himself by reading the books he found in the treehouse his parents built and he learned to speak other languages by listening to conversations
@@aaronkenyon7112 He learned to READ English on his own from the books in his parents' cabin, but could not speak or understand spoken English. Then Lieutenant D'Arnot taught him to speak French, before he learned to speak English. Jane also spoke French so that was actually the first language in which he spoke to her.
Yeah, and not only that, but they also got to explore his human identity and let him have his human birth name, John Clayton. That would have been interesting to see, especially with the Disney villain Clayton being based on Tarzan's cousin in the original novels.
Morgarot Robbie wowwww how cute she is
God's i had forgotten this movie existed and i was happy. Thanks a lot RUclips.
Tarzan is so nice
THOSE HANDS
Write the word, "legend" twenty times!
dunruden gelend😂
Lund
Similarly to our feet, if we didn't stunt them with our cushioned, heel-lifting, arch-supported, tapered-toe shoes.
Love it xxx
I realy like watching tarzan and jane
Margot and Alex did SOOO good, but the script was soooo weak. Stronger script this would be a classic. It reminds me of Godzilla 90s.
I do like the movie. But Tarzan would NEVER deny Kala. She was his mother in every way but birth.
Jane must be very pleased with his thick fingers.
They got their happy ending , staying in Africa and having a baby .
The movie that made me fall for margot robbie
Interesting they had him be British, in the cw show years ago they had him be from New Years York.
This is based off the hundred year old books.
I am convinced somewhere on a warner editing bay there was a good cut of this film or a decent script version that was cut down
0:34 I wonder what bird call was that.
@Jake Peterson We have towhees where I live, but they're the spotted towhees. Are their songs the same?
A time when Tarzan DID return to England or whatver country this is.
He still looks vampiric.
Sorry loved grey stroke more than this film Lambert nailed it
Fun fact
The girl who played jane also played harley quin
Isn't the legend of Tarzan...
His foot?
Eastern towhee bird call
Gilderoy Lockhart quiz
Haha right?!
I want to have a husband like this 🐱
Legand lol
Does anyone know the name of Jane's favorite bird?
❤❤❤
All I see is Eric from Tru Blood
Awal ton 636 bumi raksasa...last ada org purba salip marah bumi meletop ..buka balik ton 618 hilang tak jupa2...😅

Jane should have a British accent not american Disney Jane is best Jane
In the books, Jane is American from Baltimore, Maryland.
Hanzo1777 In Robin Maxwell's adaptation of Jane, she's half British and half American. 🙂
actingmylife so in a way she should have a transatlantic accent right?
+Hanzo1777 Disney Jane isn't really accurate though. Her original design was a blonde haired woman from Baltimore, so really, this Jane is a better incarnation overall.
What is the bird
This looks good and I may have to watch the movie now, but it is NOT how Tarzan meets Jane.
1:10 that can't be natural 😨
Legand is spelled Legend.
People keep talking about his hands I don't see anything peculiar someone help
His fingers are the same size as his toes. That's the effect of walking on all four limbs most of his life during his stay with the Mangani apes.
Wait didn't the lady play Harley Quinn in suicide squad
You are correct, yes.
Margot Robbie.
yes. This was after the suicide squad i think.
Hai Nguyen-Pham she said in interview that she took this film first after that she film Suicide Squad
Also Barbie too
Eric from true blood meet harley quinn
He talks like his father
What was the bird called what made that sound
What did he said at the end?
"Of course not. My mother was Alice Clayton."
So is Jane married to Clayton?
Arianna Silva yes
That is Tarzan's real name in the books
From what I read, Clayton in the cartoon is actually Tarzan's cousin
It’s actually kind of funny because even though Tarzan is John Clayton (Clayton from 99 movie’s cousin), there was a time where Jane was engaged to said cousin before she officially ended up with Tarzan. He hadn’t pursued her because he believed she was happier with his cousin until Clayton’s death (which was *not* a result of any evil-doings, exactly. He very much cared for Jane and meant well). I recommend reading the books (I need to again, it’s been a while)
@@tidela4714 Tarzan didn't pursue Jane because she had already accepted his cousin Clayton's proposal, and she felt bound to honor that commitment and remain loyal, even though she admitted to Tarzan that she loved him.
Did Tarzan leave his gorilla family and old home Africa even in the book unlike the Disney version?
Whats the name of the background Music?
Thats Harley Quinn
Why didnt he say Kala was his mother?
I wondered that myself. I asked my mom if he said Kala wasn't his mother because he was somewhat ashamed. She just shook her head.
I think he had to give the "civilized" answer to keep it simple for the kids. But he knows better himself and that is what matters
kala is from disney
Well, Lady Alice WAS his mother. In the book she raises him until he is roughly a year old. Kala is his foster mother.
Meet isn't the right word 😅
Jane is harley quinn in suicide aquad
Squad sorry for spelling mistake
is an entetertining movie but so dissapointed...Margot´s cheesy character was amazing.
❤ł
Illuminati hey
Wait, did he just sy that his momz last name was Clayton?...
Alice Clayton
@@pandahat7333 What the hell are you talking about? His parents aren't on "vacation," they're on their way for Lord John to take up a position with the colonial government when there is a mutiny on their ship. And they aren't "killed by Clayton," Lady Alice dies of natural causes and Lord John is killed by an ape. Did you even READ the book?
nah it was a good movie yall are just haters
1. I thought in the original Jane and the Professor get stranded in the jungle and Tarzan saves her
2. Shouldn't Jane (and the Professor presumably) have a British accent?
3. Haven't seen this movie, is this an AU where Tarzan wasn't raised by apes?
+FandubWorld
1. They did. I think the movie changed it up a little.
2. No. You're thinking of the Disney version of Jane. In the original novel, she's a young American woman from Baltimore.
3. No, it isn't. It's mostly an accurate adaptation of Tarzan's origin in the original novel, so he was still raised by the apes in this movie.
1. This movie is about their return to Africa. They've already met, married, and are going back there. But yes, this movie changed the background of Jane's father to a missionary residing in Africa teaching English to the natives, not as getting stranded there, and Jane is described as having mostly grown up in Africa. In the books, she is raised in Baltimore.
2. No. Jane is American in the books.
3. No, he's definitely raised by apes. He returns to England as a young man, having learned English and gained a solid English education in an incredibly short period of time (Don't ask - it's one of the books' major plot holes)
this isnt even realted to the original tarzan?
FR THEY RLLY DID THE MOVIE WRONG
Honestly I think this is one of the more accurate adaptations. It's just set well after the origin story.
isnt jane supposed to be british
Only in Disney's version
Not proper Tarzan, just remake.
1995 version better
Beginning of movie was long and boring! No action!
+Wolfpack8706 - I am not gay. The only person I would like to get to know and maybe make love too, would be Gerard Butler. If I never made love with a guy before, why would I look at guys or girls now to make love too. I go by personality and in the end, I work out they are either jerks or not my type to just sleep with. Plus you have a poor attitude and bad vibe about you now. So end of convo. All the best.
There is reason for the Chinese build up, China doesn't think anyone can win a conventional war. They don't think that a nuclear war can be won either. China possess the first or second greatest number of supercomputers in the world. They have run thousands war scenarios, I suspect they can't find a scenario that would allow for military solution to the Taiwan dilemma. Nor war situations that are outside of the Taiwan questions such a strategic miscalculations that lead to war. Those equally end, with wargame simulations, to the end of China and the World. I am not privy to anything to back my statements other history they and we aware of, as the what modern weapons both conventional non-conventional can do. China's only hope is deterrents both conventional and nonconventional; they hope will convince the CRAZY AMERICANS AND IT'S ALLIES TO BACK OFF.
Total BULLSHIT! Tarzan saw Jane for the first time at his cabin on the beach as he hid in the jungle. He first met her saving her from Terkoz the Great Ape, taking her to the Dum Dum. This movie is nothing like the book! The orignial story is MUCH better!
This video is misleading. Of course this isn't the first time Tarzan meets Jane. It's just their first appearance in the movie. They're already married for heaven's sake, and have been living in England for nearly a decade at that point. The movie is one of the better Tarzan movies in my opinion for book accuracy, they just set it farther along in the timeline.
@fennelwink actually, i think the original Johnny Weismeuller movie was more accurate. Given todays technology, i just wish they would make this staying true to the book. Alan Ritchson would make a great Tarzan, but they do need to concentrate on his early years, so people get an understanding of the animal Tarzan.
Worst tarzan remake why couldn't they remake the cartoon movie unsted
Because this is based on the actual books, known and loved for a hundred years.
