All I need from DI2 now is a combat update. Some of the weapons still feel a little weird to me- like you’re hitting a zombie with a pool noodle. I’m hoping that they release an update similar to Dying Light’s combat update. The weapons being a little faster along with some added and improved physics would just push this game from a 7 to a 10 for me.
@Zak remember when you can change your fighting style by using the right analog stick to swing your weapons where ever in the first Dead Island? Idk if that's in DI2 but I thought it was an awesome control option

100 percent. I only started going no hud about a year ago, haven't looked back. I just keep the reticle. Can't remove the fury ready notification. I really hate intrusive screen clutter. Like in rage 2. Hopefully devs keep giving us all these HUD options. Dying Light 2 is also much better no HUD

Bruno always sounds so overly enthusiastic about everything. He actually sounds like he’d be a really great person to be friends with, you know ignoring the fact he is a hustler.
i think dead island 2 has some of the best looking graphics during gameplay out of any game to ever come out not as much in the cutscenes but actual gameplay has some of the best lighting i have ever seen
Oh... My... God... This game, bro! As someone loves gore in video games, Dead Island 2 is Heaven on earth. The way that each hit connects and does something to the opponent instead of like in a lot of games where you, for example, shoot someone 5 times but you only see 2 bullet holes. But no. Here, *every* attack does something. If you hit someone in the arm, you will notice it. The arm will either be broken and you just see it flopping around as the zombie continues fighting (which looks so gnarly, and I love it) or it'll just straight up fly off. I'm so happy you made a video on this game!❤

I don't like the fury mechanic myself but that sure as hell doesn't mean DL2 is better because of just that😂 the only things that I would say DL2 beats DI2 in is the story and ragdoll physics.
I found a high level Bo Staff and put an acid mod on it, every time I triggered a finisher with it and impaled the zombie through the head, it would melt in slow motion. It was a great display of how good the gore system is
Funny how everyone was sceptical about this game. And when it came out it turned out to be the most stable game in recent time across current and last gen consoles.
In Slow Mo u can see the gore effects so much better but in real time speed u cant as it goes by very quickly. RDR2 has some competition now in the Gore Department I see ;)
i kicked a body to make sure it was dead. watched its whole brain jiggle from the kick since it was missing the top part of its skull and just found it extremely funny
i missed you voyager.. i missed you.. edit: FINALLY someone picks bruno. i see so many other people underestimate him. his perks are solid, he’s the bob and weave master of this game, and he probably has the most normal/chill voice lines in this game. I love playing him

Games are 10x better without any HUD. Play long enough to understand the mechanics and turn them off for an amazing immersive experience.
