- Our visit to Snoqualmie Falls was absolutely breathtaking. The upper viewing area offered a stunning panorama of the 268-foot waterfall plunging into the lush valley below. The sound of the water roaring over the edge was mesmerizing, creating a serene yet powerful ambiance. After soaking in the views from above, we made our way to the lower viewing area. The trail, surrounded by vibrant greenery, led us closer to the falls' base, where the mist kissed our faces and the thunderous cascade was almost within reach. It was a perfect spot to appreciate the raw beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
From there, we drove to the Emerald Queen Casino's impressive new resort. Located in Tacoma, the resort is massive, featuring a sprawling 310,000-square-foot property that seamlessly blends luxury with entertainment. The casino itself is a spectacle, with a gaming floor covering over 110,000 square feet. It boasts more than 2,000 slot machines and around 60 table games, including blackjack, roulette, and, of course, craps. The vibrant and modern space was buzzing with energy. We decided to try our luck at the craps table, and it turned out to be a great choice-winning a little added to the excitement of the day. Between the natural beauty of Snoqualmie Falls and the glitzy fun at Emerald Queen Casino, it was a day of perfect contrasts.
