Farthings were minted during multiple years, for example 1767, 68, 69, 70, 71, 1773, 74, 75, 1779, then 1806, for example...(there were no 1772, 1776-1798, no 1800-1805).
I'm sure you're right. The website I used to research these things broke it down by variety, and that's why I narrowed the range, but it seemed odd to me to even make dies for such a short date range run.
Dang, what a spot, Patrick. So many buttons and shoe buckle pieces! Congrats on the largie, she's a beauty. You are so lucky to have these really old sites!❤
AMPY!!!! What a site that is!!!! Great research! Incredible all the shoe buckle fragments and the complete one! I would pound the snot out of those woods! Outstanding video and finds!
haha I know it. When I am doing this in person I hardly notice it unless I drop it a little too vigorously. Its a horrible habit. I think it stems from moving a little to fast once I get excited about how something sounds. I have yet to break one but you know how it is. Only takes 1 time to learn my lesson!

Dude, I like your videos, but why do you keep dropping your detector? That can’t be good for it.

@@AmphibiousDetecting I hope you don’t have to learn the hard way, machines are expensive. Keep on swinging. Just try to be nicer to the machine.
