  • On 3-4 February, Ireland will host Austria in Limerick in the first Davis Cup home tie in almost a decade.
    Simon Carr is part of the Irish team and speaks to RTÉ Sport's Raf Diallo about the upcoming sold-out World Group I playoff tie, the opportunity to grow tennis in Ireland and his own journey within the sport.

    .. didn't ask him about his current form, injuries, and his world ranking???.. and why he hasn't progressed at the rate we had hoped???

      @@imemine6494 shocking. Any time you question their form or the state Irish tennis is in you get berated. How long since we had a player in a slam? Ten years? Simon carr will never play in a slam. He is a million miles off this.

      @@imemine6494 they Cant even get their sh!t together to host a lowly futures tournament in Ireland -the lowest rung of tennis.
