FOREX is not just 80% research 20% action. It's 99% research 1% action. The actions you take, involve a huge amount of research. The simple action of a trailing stop, a lot of research. Reasonable understanding of PIP value fluctuations from JPY to USDmxn to EURusd, takes research and math comprehension.
99% research = Charting, Reading, Testing, Data compilations, Back Testing, Forward testing, ANTI-testing.
Anti-testing is also great. No one does this.
Try a technique that's failing horribly. Reverse it.
I'm not saying this is a winning strategy (it can be) but it's a way to think OUTSIDE of the research or data box. Try it all, rinse, repeat. 99% research, 1% action.
People who lose it all, do 99% actions and 1% research.
I really appreciate this video. I also am teaching myself, i turned a 2400$ US account in to 12 grand in just 4 days and on emotion got completely wiped out in one day on a bad entry, followed and made subsequent mistakes , over leveraged and blew my account. Im going to demo again for another week, get my strategy and emotions in check and try it all over again. We all must be humbled to achieve our greatness. Thanks again for the video.

WOW. Such a story I can relate to. I'm more into stocks though. My parents use to always tell me why I waste my time everyday on a computer instead of going to look for a job. but I never let what other people told me get to me, because i had a vision and i wasn't going to stop until it becomes a reality.

Supply/demand, fib, 200ema and stochastic have never failed me.....There are many different styles of trading master one and you can never go wrong.

Not yet but I will ... astrofx is serious. I like how transparent they are... follow their telegram page... u will quickly see how serious they are.
we no longer need to learn any skills for years before getting better or best at it. there is this thing they call the 10000hrs rule. if you apply it I think it works like Magic

very inspirational and relatable. I'm 17 and I've been experimenting on demo and real, winning and losing on real, making a lot of money on demo and also losing.. just found a great strategy on tradingview trading on iq option and I'm proud to say this is just my beginning
update: I'm 20 and I'm profitable and I'm proud of the trust I had in myself, the vision and my ambition
update: I'm 21 been trading for 4 years and I'm making consistent profit, way more profit than losses. My RR is 1:3 or rarely 1:2, win rate at least 60%, I'm looking forward to pass FTMO 10k challenge tomorrow, get funded, get the 3 100k accounts and make 10-30% per month. Will update when I next run into this video

im a 7th year trader, mostly loosing but with the occasional hugely profitable month

oh yes. i did grow my old fxcm account from $60 to 3000 over about 9 months last year, its back at 135 ish again now. usual cycle with me, a few blinding months then disaster.

generally i dont do to badly. i know how to make money but always get to a point where i take risks, with too big a stop loss or none at all. last time it went wrong when I thought oil had stopped falling at 40.00, happened to be away driving to scotland. i had a huge loss building the next time i looked at the charts. only takes one stupid mistake to kill the acc.
