I got lucky and was able to sit court side this game. When Powell hit that step back 3 that was one of the greatest moments/feelings I’ve seen in Hall ball. Then Keldon Johnson hits that half-court to deflate it....had to be one of the lowest lows. Then we see TT, an enigma to say the least monster overtime. This game was a roller coaster. One for the ages.

I’m biased here obviously, but I think UK is still the leagues most talented team. Either way, anybody doubting whether Coach Cal will eventually get Kentucky where they need to be is ignorant. UK has lost multiple games before Dec. 9 in the past to unranked teams - 2011 (went to Final Four) 2012 (won national championship) 2013 (best player, Nerlens Noel tore his ACL) and 2014 (runner up) I could be wrong though, and they might be overrated this year. We saw what happened against Duke. I still think they got a great shot for a run in March.

@j r the difference is that Refs CONTROL how a game goes ..and we ALL know that Refs can and do gamble ..not just on the game..but on plays as well..Refs SHOULD be held to the SAME standards as Stewards at the races!..or better still..to the SAME standards as Pete Rose!..I recall 1 such Ref who called the MAJORITY of Ky games poorly..that yr..UK's stats with other refs was 79%..BUT with that 1 ref..the games he officiated for UK their % was only 29%..and yet you tell me to take an L and move on??..nope..sorry about ya luck!..until ALL refs are held to A HIGHER standard..then and only then will I let it go!..what good are rules if they aren't followed even by the officials??..that was a DIRTY PLAY!..plain and simple..just remember in horse racing..the FBI gets involved in race fixing...and if a Steward is caught helping to fix a race..he too will do jail time..I would love to see the Refs organization step up on their own and make sure their Refs are honest!..and fyi..yes it is now LEGAL for everyday people to gamble on games..
