- Jakes Divinity School’s (JDS) Inaugural Virtual Fall Convocation took place September 14, 2020, inside of a packed Zoom room. Chancellor Bishop T.D. Jakes addressed the JDS family to usher in the theme for the 2020-2021 school year, “Strengthen JDS.”
"Strengthen JDS" is committed to strengthening the school’s diverse programs and collaborative efforts to prepare students for an uncertain future in an uncertain time. We are putting the bread of education and real-world experience in your basket, so you can conquer the journey ahead.
To the fresh recruits of Jakes Divinity School with fresh vision, you are the chosen generation for the hour in which we live!

Bishop Jakes it's an honor to be a student of the Jake's Divinity School. I remember getting so excited when I heard an advertisement of it on RUclips while listening to one of your messages...I immediately took steps to enroll as it's been my endeavor to get back into school and finish up my degree since I turned my life around back in 2018. My professors have been awesome, especially Dr. Sim... who walks very closely by his students and by his word...hes an awesome man of God. I appreciate all if your hardworking staff who are very much engaged and personable with us students. I'm just honored to be apart of this moment in time. Clean off drugs and alcohol...in my right mind... doing what God has called me to do!!! Bless you TD Jake's and all the staff at Jake's Divinity and Vanguard University. 🙏🏿

I GAVE UP EVERYTHING IN 2016 BE CAUSE I HAD TO KNOW WHAT SHE MEANT ....OUT OF THIS BELLY WILL FLOW RIVER'S OF THE LIVING WATER FULL OF MY SPIRIT,....
