David Atkins is Branch Head of the Industrial and Buildings Energy Performance Branch in the Australian Government Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water. As well as overseeing the administration of the Buildings Energy Efficiency Disclosure Act 2010 and the Commercial Buildings Disclosure program it enables, the Branch is leading work on the update to the Trajectory for Low Energy Buildings. David has worked in other Commonwealth portfolios prior to taking up his current role in Energy Group at DCCEEW, and has also had senior private sector roles in Europe and Asia
