Wow, what a view not to mention the simplistic yet classy design! Ming and Tif designed their house very tastefully. Love the sea breeze and the view when they opened the folded windows. Should be a showcase renovation project.
I love how they didn’t grill Up the windows! It really makes a difference. I also love how they prepare for their daughters’ moods in the future. Great when parents allow kids to express their styles.
Definitely a top 3 fave house featured on this site. Awesome views and elegant, simple furnishings that are functional and aesthetically pleasing. Great job!
Once again, very nice home tour. Thanks the owner couples for sharing their great house with us. And thanks the StakcedHomes team for shooting and the soothing music. I personally also in love with the Japandi design. Contrary to many open floor plan, this is a very good example of compartmental floor plan can also be very elegant. Really well said Shelly. Every home is different because it reflects what the owners want, so it's actually not fair for anyone outside to judge a home from their worldview. After all, we grew up with different experiences and opinions of what is nice and what isn't, what is worth spending on and what's not worth spending a cent on. I love the long corridor inspired by Tadao Ando! Most pple wld hv thought a long corridor like dat as a wasted space but i liked what the owner said abt the purpose of the corridor - to refocus, pause, before going into each space. ❤

I viewed apartments at this area before. Didn’t know HDB allows you to remove the window grilles? Without the window grilles the sea view is so much better
Hi there, many have commented on the windows in relation to our kids - human and feline alike, and we thought we should share certain things not obvious in the video to allay your concerns. 1. No, we certainly don’t leave our windows or grills wide open. In fact facing the sea, it’s too windy to do so and like most people, we usually close and even lock our windows. But it would not have made a very pretty video for Stacked Homes and hence they were all wide open when you watch it. 2. But yes, we purposely installed bi-fold windows so that on certain occasions when we are hosting, our friends and family can enjoy the sea views. However rest assured that during such times, both kids and cats are kept out of the room. (If you watch the video carefully, unlike most houses, our living room is enclosed by a door, easily keeping kids and cats out.) 3. Facing the conundrum of wanting to keep our views unobstructed and also a cat, we did extensive research and made many enquiries before finding our dear little boy, who is a very docile munchkin cat. The breeder that we got him from had reassured us that with the combination of the short legs and placid nature of the breed and his individual personality, he would be suited for our home. She has many other customers in the same predicament and their cats are all happy and well. Thanks
Beautiful home! Thank you for sharing. But hey- let’s be mindful of when talking about the previous owners paint and decor .... it was their HOME. And they sold it to you. Keep the energy as clean as you say you like your designs
Hihi in the interview I was sharing how the house had been empty for decades and left in ruins. The floor boards were rotting away from water that had seeped in and even the cement from walls and ceiling were falling out. That’s why I said it was bad… as in the condition was bad. Sorry if it’s edited out of context which may have led to your misinterpretation of my comment. Stacked Homes has in fact apologized for misrepresenting us.
Once again, commenters cannot help but criticise others on their choices even though it has literally nothing to do with them. This is a beautiful home, and they can afford it. If you have nothing good to say... don't. To Ming and Tiffany - checking out every Tadao Ando structure possible has been my personal project for every trip to Japan for the last decade. It's such a surprise to hear u bring him up as your home inspiration. You've done him justice.

Nice renovation. Being a former resident of Marine Terrace, the seaview was totally awesome but I can't stay there due to NOISE! The ECP noise was just too much.
