I assume the R179s used was transferred from the C? Since the J/Z R179s don't have the CBTC equip on them iirc By extension, I wonder if the R179s on the A could have a transfer, since the Rockaway Shuttle and especially the G is going to have CBTC sooner.
@@Phineascharles10 Oh, then I hope this will affect the 10-car R179's on the 8th Avenue Line so there can be the possibility of an R179 E, F or R Train.
That's what I was thinking about too. Pretty soon, all of the R179s that are currently running on the (C) Train will soon end up running on the (L) and (M) lines.
Well the M is based out of ENY yard alongside the J, L & Z trains so makes sense that the R179s would eventually make their way to the M line.
@@kirkzevola5004 Exactly, so I can take the M train to Chambers Street soon
Wow this is amazing for the M
Really quick damn
Beautiful 🚇👏🙏☀️♥️☀️🙏👏🚇
Looks clean as hell
Gives me 2018 Vibes
Well it's a ENY 179 that's been on the J for the last 5 years. Guess 143s are next too. There's supposed to be a 179 on the F too this week.
R179 10 Set cars from the A? I don’t think so

R179: This is a Manhattan bound M local train … … The next stop is: 67 Avenue
Will the C continue to have R179 sets?
Now You Ready For Queens Blvd Line CBTC.
foamers going crazy with this one 🗣🗣🔥🔥
Whoa tell me they just needed an extra set the mta swapping trains again
They’re swapping
they’re swapping sets again
This was bound to happen I said this in 2019. The only reason it took so long was because QBL CBTC
So they’re gonna replace the R160s with Nassau Street CBTC and place them on the J/Z?
The “The next stop is” announcements are always slower on the R179 compared to the R160 😭
The MTA has no time to fix it they’re lazy
Very cool seeing these actually happen instead of just J trains signed up as smth else
How about adding the r179 for the L train? Hope that it will be nice.
Why is there r179 on the m?
Was so shocked when saw this at 5th ave 53rd street thought wasn't real but It surely was
How did it get humid in the station?
OMG!?!???
OH MY GOD
So rare
Not anymore
Explain plz

first time an R179 has ran on the M on its full route...
Why is it happening? And for how long?
@@brooklynboytransitfanner8812It’s happening to test how the R179s perform on CBTC territory. If they perform well, this will be permanent.
I really hope it works well

@ they’re not even going to end up on the L, idk who is spreading those rimors
The L uses a different CBTC system. So you'll continue to see 8101-8376 on that line.
