As a child, my father was posted as a diplomat in Ethiopia from 1964 - 1968. I studied in St Joseph School, from the 3rd Grade to 5th Grade, skipped 6th Grade and continued to 7th and 8th Grade. I made many friends here. I am now connected to my old school friends thanks to the internet. Greetings from Indonesia.
Truly a second home, have learned so much and gotten so many memories which made many of us the Men we are now. Wish you my school, another 60 more years of success.
Don't blame them. Look what kind of people who is leading the country since 1966 etc . All of them ignorant and illiterates who have so much hate for educated people. Still today our leaders don't value education and educated people's who can contribute so much for their countries. Instead ethnicity is the measure to get any positions in the country.
The age of innocence. I grew up in the derg era. At the time the west was envyed because society was restricted to do anything by derg. I remember people Will ask me what school i attended and when I said st Joseph they will lose their minds.
These men gathering is not health why is not women allowed, plus, the catholic sexual allegation is something to look at. There should be independent investigation on the pervious teacher and priests. because such institutions around the world are revealing ugly stories behind the wall.
It is nice school but, it is time to relocate to another place maybe bole arabsa or some other places. Because it is in prime location. It can’t continue just like before. City administration have to sell the place to banks so they can build their head office.
Thanks for your thoughts, but St. Joseph is not only a school, it is also a heritage place for Ethiopian educational development. And as a former student, and a citizen of this country, I kindly disagree with your idea.
I understand it have sentimental value for former students but it can be rebuilt out side the city Center. BTW it is not the only school Bola Asaye school also have to relocate. TBH most of the current students live around summit, Ayate and legtafo so it is more convenient for everyone.
@@tesfayesolomon9574 That is not true. Students come from all corner of the city. The central location of it is important. There are plenty of locations where banks can build their HQ. Not only is the campus sentimental, but also historical. What you are proposing is a luxury, the country can not afford. There are plenty of slums in the center of the city that will benefit from the development. Destroying a beautiful campus and a historical place for a bank HQ is a luxury our country can not afford.
@@JGembre Again it is located in the city centre so they have to move it other place. And also the exhibition Center , the stadium, commerce college and the Ethiopian road Authority all have to move out from the city centre. The sixteenth new banks which are under formation need a place for their HQ near to national bank HQ. Old banks already build their HQ in “financial district “.

Why st Joseph school is a breading place for homosexuality?
