- Looking to explore Europe? Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, is one of the most popular cities - and for good reason! We visited this Dutch city for a few days and did some exploring right before Christmas. Famous for a number of different things, Amsterdam offers something for everyone.
From stunning churches and museums to attractions like the Heineken Experience, the Anne Frank House, and more - we had a really great time exploring the capital city. Because Amsterdam is a popular stop for travellers, we wanted to create a guide on things to do as well as tips on where to stay, how to get around, and more!

It definitely has its pretty parts! This was actually filmed in December but we went back in January and it wasn't too cold then either. That said, it's been a milder winter this year, in general. Thanks for watching, happy waddling!

Our hotel (Doubletree) sold us a day ticket for the GVB, as well as for the train to the airport. Video is excellent!
Thanks so much - you have no idea how much a simple "great video" comment means to us :) Yeah, that's a great tip - the tourism/hospitality infrastructure is so intertwined that you can get a ticket for anything almost anywhere. The DoubleTree - isn't that the hotel close to Central with the great rooftop patio??
Yes it is. Was a little too rainy and or cold for the rooftop (November 11ish) but close to trams and trains.

This was an interesting guide, but it felt rushed. You could've expanded on some of the information that was given.
