@@Axius27 To be fair, even in areas where the toads and frogs are not poisonous, they shouldn't be handled. Their skin is actually very susceptible to harm in a variety of ways, and for many of them human skin oils are harmful.
Not to mention they often carry minor infectious diseases like warts that can be transmitted by handling.

My all time favorite anime! I bought all three seasons on Blue Ray / DVD and the movie. I love stories about growing up in rural areas.

The way she walked the frog/toad, kind of reminded me of when I did something similar with my step-dad’s youngest grandchild.
The main reason I watch Non Non Biyori is because it reminds me so much of my own childhood. Wish I'd known some girls who liked catching frogs, toads, lizards and snakes though.
And to this day this anime is still legendary
