E3 (2020-2021) How to, Goalline Club President Registration

Welcome to our Volleyball Alberta ‘How To’ video training series
This video is to provide a demonstration of how to register if you are a: Club President for the 2020-2021 season.
All Volleyball Alberta registrations are done on the:
Volleyball Alberta - Volleyball Registration System - powered by Goalline.
Throughout this video, and commonly used in the Volleyball Alberta community, we will refer to this site as the: VRS-Goalline.
I will show you where to go, what information you need and answer a few commonly asked questions throughout this video. So let’s start …
1. Go to volleyballalberta.ca
2. Click on the Goalline Register Icon, the icon with the picture of a pencil, from our homepage hot button icons
3. You are now on the VRS-Goalline landing page for Volleyball Alberta
4. Click on the [2021 Club President Registration]
5. Listed at the top of the registration form is the ‘Club Approval Process’
Club Presidents must complete all steps listed in the process.
Additional information for club presidents:
As the club president, or designated club representative, it is your responsibility to verify that your Coaches & Players are registered and have completed their requirements.
All Players, Coaches & Team Staff participating in Volleyball Alberta affiliated club activities are required to register as ‘Recreational Members, cost is $15.50 this year - you may instruct them to choose either the ‘Youth Recreational Player’ or the ‘Coach - Recreational Program’ membership type’ prior to their first day of participation.
All memberships are upgradable, meaning that already paid fees will discount if/when the individual needs to upgrade their membership to a higher level, such as the Competitive Player or Coach - Competitive membership type.
Recreational Memberships are valid from Sept 1st to Aug 31st or the Date of Purchase to August 31st and can be used for Volleyball Alberta affiliated camps, clinics, tryouts, practices, mini-leagues, individual training & skill development sessions… it is only once the club/team is ready to register for a Premier or Provincial Championship Event that the memberships need to be upgraded to the full competitive membership type.
Memberships are non-refundable, make sure you know what membership you need before purchasing.
The forms completed on Goalline, FormStack Sign & Sterling MyBackCheck are automatically sent, filed & stored with Volleyball Alberta & a copy is emailed to the ‘registrant/participant’. You may verify completion by requesting to see a copy; however, you do not need to keep a copy in your club files for the year.
All you need is to record the date of completion after seeing the:
- Goalline registration confirmation email - Recreational Membership Purchase
- Formstack Sign certificate of completion - for their membership consent forms package (waivers)
And for your coaches the
- Enhanced Police Information Check (E-PIC) from Sterling MyBackCheck - date of completion
- FormStack Sign certificate of completion, for either the Screening Disclosure form OR Screening Renewal form
- Coach.ca Safe Sport - date of completion
You do not need to keep copies of the registration records or certificates of completion unless that helps you & your club admins.
On the top of the 2021 Coach Registration Form we added the 5 things coaches need to complete and that club's should make sure are completed prior to coaching for their club.
