Baahubali and the villain are cousins. The villain wants to be king and marry a princess that Baahubali is in love with. Baahubali is the rightful heir. So the villain has Baahubali stabbed in the back by his own Hand of the king. He takes his wife prisoner and imprisons her for several years. Baahubali’s mother (the queen) saves baahubali’s infant child and the child grows up in exile, finds out who he is and avenges his dad, frees his mother from prison and becomes king.
It’s basically Lion King but with a few changes and set in an epic historical world.
So is he dies and is born again and plays the role of his son?

I think, the point of the final fight was that his father's righteousness (sword)was not enough to vanquish the "evil". It took his mother's years of yearning for vengence(the chains which were used to tie her up) and her belief that could help him kill the villain. The man in the sky was his father..
At least no DRAGON and no city destroyed!

I stumbled across this movie on Netflix a few years ago. I watched a few minutes of the first one and was intrigued. I watched the entire movie and was blown away at the story. I was super happy when I realized that part 2 was also on Netflix. What an epic story this was.

Hey. So. The lady with the fire on her head. She was performing this tradition where she has to walk three rotations to the shiva temple inside the place and her feet shouldn't stop.
It's said if one completed this their wishes will be fulfilled.
She is BahuBali's mom and if she completes it Ballaldev will surely be defeated, that's when the evil priest suggests to burn the bridge so she stops walking and the tradition will be broken.
Co-incidently ballabdevs statue breaks and she walks over his head which is like a show of disrespect, hence she has the smirk.

That Bahubali that is fighting now, is not the original one, that is his son. The women he is saving was his fathers lover, the frist Bahubali. She gave birth to him as his father died in a backstabbing battle. And the queen from the first movie is this villians blood mother, while she only adopted the original Bahubali. So that makes the original Bahubali and this villian half brothers. The old bad guy is the villians father and was the queens husband, which means he was the original Bahubali's step dad, even though he never thought of him that way. So this Bahubali's son is basically fighting his half uncle.
