Dead Radin makes a small mistake - idealism is not panpsychism. The former postulates all matter to be IN consciousness and consciousness is fundamental. Panpsychism postulates consciousness to be a property of matter, so not fundamental. Thus, is not the same thing.

Materialistic, reductionist science really does a number in our world view and belief system. This type of science is the new religion. When meditators quiet the mind, what really are they setting aside? Cortex processing, which really acts as a filter, screening out all that extraneous telepathic noise. :)
