I was at that game sitting in the north stands and talking at half time about Gary Lee doing something big in the second half! He didn’t wait very long he took the kick off and brought it back for a touchdown, everybody went crazy and we beat the damn dogs!

It was known that the old South Stands were going to be removed after this game. For those of you who didn't see it, the seats were a mile from the field, and 70+ years of traffic pounding on North Ave helped that end of the stadium deterrorate at a fast rate. Also, GT's football record was up and down for 20 yrs. The old South Stands were empty except when old SEC foes brought fans. You may not like the Wardlaw Center nor the new North Deck, but both are far superior than the old South Stands.

Gtcu17 the BDS was just renovated, remember George O'Leary the guy with the grand plans who then left on a boat to nowhere. We can't even fill the current configuration, not to worry CPJ will change that.

It would be nice to re-model that stadium. We could probably do it if the athletics department got some more money. I think Paul Johnson will be able to turn Tech into an ACC contender. So maybe stadium renovation is not out of the question.
