Video was really helpful for the belt replacement. I'm pretty good at figuring out things on my own and was doing well to never own or work on a Troy bilt tiller but it took a few days to get the belts and by the time I was able to get back to the job I had forgotten the belt routing. This video showed me exactly the way to replace and the belt routing so "Thank you" from a guy that normally never needs instructional videos. Two thumbs up

    Mark,
Thanks for the very clear and descriptive video of the process. I rebuilt the engine and had to reset the valve lash. Upon reassembling, I had forgotten the belt sequence on tiller action belt. Your view was helpful in realizing that the V part of the belt only enters on 1/2 of the side of the drive pulley, thus permitting the backside, or flat part of the belt to ride on the idler pulley properly. My make was a yardman but possessed was the same parts. Thanks for the help.

Just received the Troy-Bilt Bronco Tiller(2010 Model) from my Son-in Law. Looks like new. This model does not have the Reverse option. I went to the Parts Breakout and ordered the Pieces that I need to install the Reverse Brackets and Pulley along with the control cable and the Reverse Belt. I also ordered the shouldered washer that the pulley mounts with on the Bracket. I will build my own hand lever from 1/2 inch electrical conduit and my own spring for the lever return. Screws and Bolts will be from my collection of parts saved from other projects. Cost will be about $80 Bucks and a couple of hours labor.
The Super Bronco photos and belt replacement video helped me decide to upgrade my Bronco Tiller with the Reverse Option. Interesting that the Troy-Bilt folks don't offer a kit for this option as the parts are in stock and not very expensive.
Replacement parts online have most of the parts but, didn't see the main bracket listed. I went with Troy-Bilt parts, from their Site and expect the parts in early January 2015. The weights that connected to the sides for extra weight on the tiller were not available so I will build my own from scrap metal Sears radial arm saw that I sold back to Emerson on Recall for $100 Bucks.
I've had good luck with Troy-Bilt but, some things are not economical to repair such as my Troy-Bilt Weed Wacker -- Back to the hedge shears and Hoe. Seventy-five in July and still faster that half the kids on the Block. Honor a Vet. Thanks.

Thank you for the video. This did save me a good amount of money. Both of the belts on my Troy Built broke while tilling. The repair center would not even give an estimate and and the wait time was 3 weeks. Did it myself after this video

Thanks! I was actually looking for a video on the forward drive belt, but this was all that came up on my search so I thought I would watch it then look on your channel to see if there's a video specific to the forward drive belt. Obviously if you do these same steps you could replace the forward belt too. I'm good. Thanks again for the video.
