Just too small for many pedal's foot switches!
Like which pedals? Obviously there's no need for them on Boss/Ibanez style pedals and I've personally only had one pedal they haven't fit on because the brand chose a fancy nut for the footswitch.... But I'm genuinely curious as to which pedals you've had issues with!
@@CartersTalkTone Ibanez Echo Shifter, for one, has fat buttons. Website has "Skirtless V1" listed next to the ES2 because the button is low. Fooling around with a V1 tall boy from another pedal just now, and there is no way it's going over that ES2 button. Yeah, not many people using those, so no big deal maybe, but that's one example. Maybe it needs a "big bore", but if that's the case they ought to update their compatibility chart.
I want some for my line6 HD500x, which version will fit?
I'd assume V1 judging by the switch type on it and what barefootbuttons.com/ says about the types. If there's still any doubt the owner is pretty good at getting back to people
