Hi guys, many years ago I had a lot of trouble convincing my parents that I should take the polytechnic route instead of Junior College. After reflecting for many years and trying to see thing from an adult's point of view, these are some things I wished I could've told my younger self.

Hi Thanks for this video! I am actually searching for info on go poly or go jc, whats the pre requisite to go for jc or poly, wats the academic criteria & i realised that i need to go back to the basics, what is H1, H2, pure science, arts etc etc. I am a parent and i have totally no idea on these. Can you do a video on subject based criteria? Or you could help enlighten me. Sorry i do not know if my questions are valid but seriously i am so lost, so lost to guide my child.

So only Elite JC's then able to enter NUS/NTU/SMU? Neighborhood JC's 0% chance? Most competitive degrees of NUS & NTU need AAA/A. So L1B5 10 points is it a good indication to go JC instead of Poly?

ultimately it is the A levels result . if a rjc or hcjc student gets all C and so called non elite jc student gets all As the student with better grades gets into uni.

hello! is temasek jc considered a neighbourhood jc?

Hello! I think the term 'neighbourhood jc' is used rather informally. Generally I would say the common consensus most people have is that neighbourhood jcs are JCs with a COP of >10.

temasek jc is considered a "upper mid tier" jc by COP
depending on the person, it may or may not be considered a neighbourhood jc or not, it's right in the middle
