Amil is an artist of fine quality. She has a passion for what she does. It's an art form and she loves it. Why would she taint it with that commercialized bullshit so many people are buying today. She believes in music in it's quintessential form. Let's leave the auto-tunes and smoke and mirrors to all of the charlatans that's in the game. We need her sacred and pure.

This song along with "Gils and tails" and "say you want it all" shows here awesome ability with using metaphors and analogies in songwriting. We rarely see this in music today. I love it Amel. I will work with you someday.!

WHAT?!?!? My girl Amel's released/releasing another album in 2009!?? i'm so mad i'm behind, caz this bangs!!! Like everyone else said, i LOVE how no matter how much she experiments she stays true to her style. She is such an underrated queen. So glad she's got some joints like this cooked up!
Oh i'm also sooo glad she's not being afraid to be loud caz she can definitely hit those notes better than most female artists today

@niceme54 I agree, when she worked with Bryce {I believe that's his name} from Groove Theory they had great music. She should be selling more records. I love most of her music but she should switch it up.
In EVERY VIDEO of Amel, somehow Beyonce and Rihanna seem to get mentioned...how? I find no similarities. Don't get me wrong, I love Beyonce but This is AMEL'S video and they are two distinct artists with two distinct styles. Gotdammit.

I love love love Amel Larrieux, but when I heard this, I thought to myself that if she keeps using Laru as her producer, then she's limiting herself. This sounds really familiar to some of the songs on "Morning" and I wish she'd try some new producers because she's so talented. I loved "Lovely Standards."
