I really savored every moment of this garden tour. Thank you for taking the time to film and post these tours! I seriously considered coming on this trip this year, but decided not to....maybe next year. I had the good fortune to live in England for a few years in my early twenties....so this is bringing back memories for me. I look forward to seeing what ideas you take away from this trip to incorporate into your own garden. That would be a fun video....you touring your garden and talking about where you can add English garden designs.

Massive garden, love the arches, the plant combinations, small paths, open spaces, little corners to relax and connect with nature. Secret Garden can be film there or a Hallmark movie. Thanks Kim!

I loved enjoying this garden vicariously. Thanks for this video. I think the "phlox" are really Dame's rocket. I think the "privet" hedge is really yew. So many plants to learn, so little time! Perhaps next time pan just a bit more slowly so we can really drink it in?

Beautiful video. The gardens are gorgeous of course, but for me it was the walkways and gates/doors that were my favorite. The walkways look so peaceful to just stroll through and then see peeks of the "rooms" along the way.

@@TheRoseGeek Thank you for getting back to me. I understand now. I'm happy to hear that it was such a sweet moment for you. Maybe someday, I'll have such a moment and remember you. I have to say, though, I've never experienced a garden that rose to that level. You're very fortunate. I dream of producing such a garden; however, time is fleeting, and I only hope to get everything placed and planted before I'm too old to see the mature outcome. One example would be the wall hedge. Of course, there's always life's simpler pleasures, that can and do evoke tears of appreciation. For these, I am grateful. Happy springtime to you! ~James

19.08 Ceanothus (California lilac).....great for attacting pollinators.....Lots of different varieties available from white to dark blue, my guess is the one you commented on is 'Puget Blue'.........not sure if it is avalaible to you in the US?
